I don't skate but I wear these shoes for how they look and how comfortable they are. Just a very well built shoe and super cool looking. For me they run about a half size large. I also like how there's no logos or flashy decorations all over the shoe.
I've always loved skate shoes, and I wanted some that looked nice in case I had to go to a meeting at the office. These shoes are them; however, they won't be clean long time, thanks to their color and fabric. Other than that little issue, I love them. It seems they'll last long, as usual with nice skate shoes.
I’ve been an Emerica customer for over 20 years. They have always been one of my favorite skate shoe companies. These are my first pair of winos and I’ll definitely be buying them in other colors. The dark purple looks dope, especially with the black laces and contrasting lime green trim on the sole. I was pleasantly surprised tho by the fit of the shoes. Emericas generally run narrow and these actually run a bit wide, which makes them super comfy for me. I’ve been wanting this colorway for a long time and I was finally able to grab a pair before they were discontinued, for almost half off.
I didnt want to spend 60-80 bucks on some skate shoes so I was seeking alternatives. These shoes look good and are a steal for the price. My only complaint is that when id skate for more than 2 hours or walk for hours at work, the shoes made my toes hurt like id get a blister. So maybe they aren't the most comfortable shoes in the world. These shoes lasted me a solid 3 months of skating which I think is good and for those who can skate switch it'll last even longer.
Awesome shoes by Emerica! Great skate shoes and they look amazing. They have elastic on the tongue that helps keep them on your feet. Like mentioned in the previous review “these are a great alternative to the Vans” they’re an awesome, well constructed shoe and of good quality too. Emerica has always made a great shoe and have hit the mark again with these low tops.They run true to size, the 9.5 fits like all other 9.5 shoes I own, and they’re quite comfortable too.
love this fit and color, very comfortable and nice shoe, bought men's shoe when i usually buy women's wide for my lovely feet and i adore these. once the snow is gone, ill definitely be busting out the longboard and see how these babies do cruising around. so far, they have to be some of the most comfortable shoes ive ever spent money on. no heel blisters or any pinching fresh from the box. will be buying more emerica shoes in the future. arrived safe and sound!
im a size 7 for a lot of brands(lakai, nike, vans, and footprint) and they all fit too size, but the Emericas were like 0.5 bigger but thats fine because im still growing, but the comfert is great and the style is nice. First skate sesh was pretty good with these shoes. I didnt need to change my stance or fix anything. They broke in really fast. Would buy again because Nike SB is way to expensive, vans arent that durable for me, footprint shoes are meh but insoles are great, and lakai was too slim for me, i found these perfect for me, but thats just my style
Got these for skateboarding. So the review will be based on that.Pros:They break in quick almost right out of the box.Cons:Run a 1/2 size too big.Lack in the sole area at the heel.They feel thin at times.Soft material/wear out quickThese would be a 5 star shoe if they were priced cheaper. For 10-15 more you can find better quality shoes that last and feel good.
