When reviewing the Emerica mens Pillar Mid Top Vulc Skate Shoe, several key aspects stand out:
These shoes provide exceptional comfort from the moment you put them on. The G6 foam insole delivers adequate cushioning, allowing you to land hard without feeling excessive shock. However, be prepared for a brief break-in period as the material can feel stiff initially.
The mid-top style offers significant ankle support, which is essential for preventing injuries when performing tricks. Unlike low-top shoes that might leave your ankles vulnerable, the Pillar provides a reassuring sense of stability.
In terms of aesthetics, the black/white/gold colorway is sleek and versatile, making it suitable for both skate parks and casual outings. The design seamlessly integrates functionality with modern trends.
With its double-wrapped vulcanized construction and rubber ollie guard, the Emerica Pillar is built to withstand the rigors of skateboarding. Many users report minimal wear even after extensive usage, a testament to its high-quality craftsmanship.

I got these as a christmas present for my boyfriend as he really goes through skating shoes and these have held up pretty well despite him skating for hours on end everyday. he also says theyre comfy enough to wear everyday!
A little on the heavy side. Perfect fit and they look great. Will buy another pair.
Got these for my son who has shredded numerous pairs of shoes practicing his flips. He’s had them for about 2 months now, skates every day, and they’re still in great shape! Would highly recommend if you go through skate shoes as quickly as our family or even if you just want a great pair of shoes.
Emerica no falla
Item came as described and quickly. I love this shoe from emerica
i like these ok. they are just a fuzz on the big side, but i can deal. i love the design. the heel box is nice and deep and pretty solid while allowing for free movement. there is also a decent counter patch on the heel...impressive! also, the sole is a good, solid design without stupid gimmicks. the ollie pad reminds me of vision street wear i had from the 80's. rad.the drawback i see as far as being a good skate shoe is that they are pretty clunky and slightly heavy. it's been decades since i've been in the bmx/skate scene, but i would think a fella would want a lighter shoe than this....still, it's a pretty solid shoe that should serve you for a season.get out there and have fun.
Emerica doesn't disappoint. High comfort. Great board feel. Decent ventilation. Relatively durable. Stylish. Great shoes for the price.
Well made shoe. This shoe is built like shoes used to be built. It’s stiff for a few days and then molds to your foot. The sole is no skid and wears slowly. This shoe was built to last.
