When it comes to skate shoes, comfort and performance are paramount, and the Emerica Men's Wino G6 Slip-ON does not disappoint. First, let’s talk about comfort; the drop-in G6 PU insole delivers a plush, responsive feel that cushions your feet during landings and provides excellent shock absorption. This feature is particularly beneficial for skaters who perform tricks that put strain on their feet.
Next is the durability of the shoe. The double wrapped foxing and robust suede outer material ensure that these shoes can take a beating while maintaining their shape. You won't find yourself needing replacements any time soon, even with frequent use.
Furthermore, the heel anchor system significantly enhances foot stability, giving you confidence to push your limits on the board. However, keep in mind that the slip-on nature may require a slight break-in period, especially if you're used to traditional laced shoes. Lastly, the triangle tread outsole offers exceptional grip, making it easy to stick to your board no matter the surface conditions.

I have had Etnies Marana Slip-ons, Vans Slip-ons (classic), Vans Slip-ons (BMX), and Adidas Sleuth slip-ons (Bike), and these Emerica Wino G6 and they are BY FAR the most comfortable in every way. Better footbed, better upper, better toe box, and the ankle guard at the back of the shoe works perfect. This is definitely my go-to slip on for every day wear. I have not skated this shoe, yet, so I cannot comment on its skating ability or durability for skateboarding, but I wear this shoe almost every day and the shoe so far is holding up great as well as the insole. Order true to size. If I can say anything negative at all about this shoe is that it is slightly heavier than all the other slip-ons I have had.
I love how quickly these shoes broke in. I didn't do anything special other than wear them around the house for about 2-3 days and they softened up FAST and are way more comfortable than any other brand of slip-ons I've owned. They skate well, look great and feel solid just being worn around casually. A+ shoe!
I researched a while for quality slip-on’s and these are it. Haven’t skated them yet but I expect them to excel because they provide really great foot support for having flat soles. I really like the quality of material used and how quickly they formed to my feet. I have had a few pairs of the standard Wino lace up’s, and these definitely compare without the hassle. Only complaint is the small heal flap that I assume is to protect the Achilles but ends up under when putting them on since it is a snug fit and needs to be pulled out each time I put them on.UPDATE: Best slip on I’ve owned by far. The sole is super comfortable and long lasting, still has that memory foam feel after almost a year of use. It makes sense that it would fit so tightly at first because now I know it’s a shoe that will last! Also, it’s color and shape held up even in my work environment where shoes get ruined easily.
I love these shoes to skate or just wear casually, dont have much ankle support but theyre slip ons so I didnt expect much. Really good board feel and my feet never slip off. I have 3 pairs two in this color and one in the stone suede. Would buy again!
This is a really good gym shoe. It fits well, it looks nice and it wears nice. I've had no less then 8 pair of this brand and style or similar style. You can't go wrong with these.
I have been loving slip ons lately, vans and Kung fu slippers, so I got these to take on a trip to Thailand and Japan. Temples and some businesses have you take off your shoes so slip ons were the way to go. They seem really well made, but they are a little small. I wear 10 in vans and converse, these were a little tight to where I can put them on, but they are not as comfy as they should be. Maybe just check sizing, other than that they seem great! I still have been wearing them, so not that big a deal, but I wish I would’ve ordered a half size up.
Nice looking shoe, the quality is excellent. Personally I love the extra fabric that comes up to the Achilles. The shoe is a little narrow and smaller that advertised. Usually, for slip ins I buy a half size down due to the fabric stretching. With these I would say order your normal size for a good fit. I won’t be skating in these, but I will be wearing them for business casual with some chinos.
Comfortable Shoes!
