I love the fact that these shoes are BOY'S SHOES THAT WERE SUPER CHEAP AND COMFORTABLE!!
Love these shoes other than the design in the heel area where the voids collapse and cause hard spots under your heels that are extremely uncomfortable. The suede material is extremely durable and easily washed with Murphy's oil soap if you get it dirty. I wish DC would change the design of the heel to address this problem and these would be a five-star shoe ✅

Very comfortable and classic DCs
Excellent value for money. Solid shoes that don’t feel flimsy or like flat slippers. Fits true to usual size and is moderately comfortable.The ergonomics of the shoes feels comfortable for everyday activities as well as skating as they feel comfortable pretty quickly from new. It is a good combination of a bulky shoe feel while still having a more slim profile for skating. Bottom rubber is grippy and seems durable enough to not get holes in for a decent time from skating.Only annoyance I can say is the seemingly pointless extra poofy top of the tongue, not a big deal, but it does kind of interfere with the laces or it will push forward if it isn’t. Overall well worth the money for a decent quality shoe.-future edit-After skating these for awhile I agree with the other reviewer mentioning that these are slimmer on the bottom. The narrow bottom has been problematic for skating as it creates less of a platform which equals less grip with some tricks and the narrower heel also causes them to be more prone to ankle rolls.
Shoes are super comfortable. Great for walking around all day, standing around all day, or skating. Love the sleek black look too!
