DC Kids' Chelsea Tx Skate ShoeThis us my nine-year-old granddaughter's first pair of "skater" sneakers. To say she LOVES these shoes would be putting it mildly. The black/white/hot pink colors look great and go with almost everything in her closet. They good with the three different sock cuts she switches between (low profile/barely visible, invisible, and ankle folding). Now when she first put them on they were right. . .however, after about 60-9 minutes they were fine. I do wish I had ordered a half-size larger so she could be with them until Christmas. If you want your child to have the customary "thumb-nail" room to growOrder UP a 1/2 size.Looks great, wears well, is holding up nicely considering how hard she is on sneakers. I love DC shoes! They have been my favorite for years. These are typical DC brand shoes. They fit as expected, I ordered 6.5 in big kids, which is about the same as 8 in womens, and they fit just right. They are comfortable, easy in and off, and stylish shoes.
