I honestly Googled to search for a durable skate shoe that would hold up to my teenager's active lifestyle, & rough skateboarding. We were going through shoes every other month. These have LASTED! Not only do they not have holes in them, but they actually still look great, months later! Highly recommend if you have a kid that's rough on shoes! It's worth the investment! I actually bought a second pair just for him to have more than one, since they've held up so well, & it may be the only type of shoe I buy him from now on!
I just wanted a pair to replace my old Adidas Sambas that I use for working out - kick boxing a workout bag, some weights, swords, that kind of thing - and they are great for that, and about 20 buck cheaper. But some of my students saw me wearing them buying groceries and for some reason they though they were really cool - as a 50-something teacher, students are very quick to point out when you are not cool - thank God 'OK Boomer' is in Meme Nirvana now - so to find a shoe that not only is comfortable, but the kids think are cool is a bonus.
