Detailed Review

When it comes to running shoes, comfort and support are paramount, and the Under Armour Women's Charged Surge 4 does not disappoint. Straight out of the box, you'll notice how lightweight they feel, which is a significant advantage when you're logging long miles. The mesh upper promotes airflow and ventilation, reducing sweat buildup and keeping your feet dry throughout your run.

The addition of synthetic overlays gives the shoe extra structure, helping to prevent feeling flimsy during vigorous activities. What stands out even more is the cushioning provided by the Charged Cushioning® midsole. This technology absorbs shock effectively, responding to each stride with a bounce that rejuvenates your energy levels.

Additionally, the ankle collar's enhanced cushioning wraps snugly around your ankle without being restrictive, offering an almost customized feel. This is further complemented by the Deluxe Comfort System sockliner that adapts to your foot shape, making sure every step is cushioned perfectly.

However, it’s essential to note that the shoe has an 8mm offset, which may not suit everyone, particularly those seeking a more minimalistic running experience. Some runners might also find the width slightly narrow, leading to possible discomfort over extended use.

If your running routine demands versatility, the durable rubber outsole of the Charged Surge 4 provides excellent traction and flexibility, allowing smooth transitions during your runs. Overall, whether you're hitting the pavement or the treadmill, the Under Armour Women's Charged Surge 4 Running Shoe is a remarkable choice that combines comfort, support, and lightness effectively.

Great for running

I received these lace-up Under Armour Women's Charged Surge 4 Running Sneaker and really found them to be very comfortable for walking/ running/ every day wear. It's winter here so I tested them out on the treadmill at the gym and thought the cushion, comfort and support was great. I fluctuate between a 7.5 and 8 for shoes. With Under Armour sneakers I tend to go up the half a size and the 8 was a perfect fit. If I would've gone with a 7.5 I think it would've been too tight with the cushioning. I found the sneakers breathable and the toe box gave plenty of room and didn't numb my foot/toes when running and the tread could handle light outdoor terrain. I'm really happy with these and loved the look of the black color with the white sole, its a sneaker that can be really versatile in my day to day wear.

Comfy

These women’s sneakers mimic a pair of the same color and design as my husband’s Under Armour sneakers. The only difference is…the sole is thicker on the woman’s style. The upper is lightweight mesh and are more fitting for warmer weather (which is not in my area right now). However, they are very comfortable, cushioned well and soft all the way around. The inside construction is smooth enough to be worn without a sock, if desired. I was a bit concerned about the size. I take an 8 in boot, shoe or sandal…but in a sneaker I teeter between a 7 1/2 and a 8. I have learned through reading a lot of footwear reviews in the past - every foot is different and every opinion on fit and size is different. However, in my final decision… I chose the 8 and they are perfect. The brand is well known and highly rated. I have zero issues with this item and I recommend it.

No Ankle Support

I wish I could say that I love these Under Armour running shoes but I can’t. Perhaps it is because I am not familiar with running shoes. I do not like that it is low around the ankle. It offers no support and allows your heel to slip while running. The cushioning inside the shoe is nice if you are running because it absorbs the shock of the ball of the foot hitting the ground but the padding is all up front from just prior to the ball of the foot to the toes. This makes the shoes uncomfortable to walk in. It feels like you are walking up hill like earth shoes. If you are the average run/walker I do not think these shoes are for you.

Great shoe!

Let me preface this review by saying- I am not a runner or athlete anymore, so these shoes will mainly be used for casual wear. I also just received them and am basing my review off initial impressions (will update review if any concerns come up with longer wear!)These are cute and relatively reasonably priced for a pair of tennis shoes. The black and white color will go well with my casual wear outfits that mostly consist of black leggings and a sweatshirt. I personally feel the white sole of the shoe is a little thicker than I am used to as far as appearance wise, and I think the shoes would look better if it was not as thick. But these shoes feel well made, are comfortable on, and the fit is true to size!

Comfortable and Lightweight

We are an Under Armour family, and this pair of runners didn't disappoint in the quality we've grown to love! I'm more of a beginner runner, preferring walks or light jogs over distance running. I found the shoes to fit great, and they are lightweight and easy to walk and jog in. They look great with leggings, having a slimmer design compared to my other pair, as well as with jeans for casual wear days.

Great fit, very comfy

Fits as expected, perfect for gym class. Comfy to wear, and very breathable. Quality you'd expect from an Under Armour product! Not what I'd suggest if you're running in cold weather, definitely more of a spring-fall or indoor running shoe.

Comfortable, nice looking running shoes

These shoes are light and comfortable. They have laces and need to be tied. I ordered the black ones with white soles. The white accent threads in the black area give them a nice look and almost sparkle. They feel supportive and comfortable.
