When it comes to road running shoes, the Topo Athletic Women's FLI-Lyte 4 stands out due to its impressive combination of cushioning, breathability, and lightweight design. The shoes are crafted with a proprietary midsole compound that offers superior springiness compared to traditional EVA foam, which translates into enhanced energy return during your run.
The lightweight and breathable materials used in the construction of the FLI-Lyte 4 ensure that your feet remain cool and comfortable, even during intense workouts. The lace-up closure system allows you to achieve a customized fit, helping reduce any unwanted movement within the shoe.
The OrthoLite footbed is another highlight of the FLI-Lyte 4, providing excellent moisture management and anti-compression properties. This means that you can focus on your performance without worrying about discomfort or fatigue.
One potential downside of the FLI-Lyte 4 is that its snug fit may not accommodate runners with wider feet comfortably. Additionally, while the 3mm drop promotes a more natural stride, some runners who prefer a more cushioned heel may find it less forgiving.
In conclusion, if you're searching for a pair of running shoes that offer a balance of comfort, performance, and style, the Topo Athletic Women's FLI-Lyte 4 is definitely worth considering.

These fit great and are really comfortable. I wear almost exclusively barefoot shoes in my everyday life but have ramped up my running recently and was not yet ready to wear barefoot shoes for higher mileage. These are the perfect combination of low heel drop, wide toe box, but still enough cushioning for running. Highly recommend.
Finally a shoe that is comfortable and performs as stated for wide feet. This is my shoe from now on!
Like these very much. My toes love the natural foot shaped toebox. I just have weird feet and think a wider (in midfoot area) version would work better for me. Unfortunately Topo does not have many wide options.
This is my second pair of this Topo model. The wide toe box and low heel drop work well for me. I went up a half size from my other pair because I'm doing my first marathon and wanted to allow for feet swelling. My other pair started getting tight after 1/2 marathon distances. Three upper remains strong on my first pair after more than 300 miles. They are not highly cushioned. But I like feeling the road and the flexibility of the sole. They also are fairly light.
Nice, but not really worth the money.
When I looked at the pair I received I thought I'd return them because they did not have much of a structural shape. But then I put them on and did not want to take off. After the first run I thought again that I'll return them because their heel is sticking out behind your heel by an inch. I hate this style. You cannot even put the foot on the heel to stretch the calves. But they are so comfortable and feel like slippers that I thought I'd keep them to walk around. I ended up running in them daily so far but, unfortunately, would not do stretches and exercises because of their heel part of the sole. This is why 4 stars. The forefoot is roomy and they have a good arch support for my high arches. I used to wear New Balance but the late models of NB that I tried are lacking arch support so the foot slides forward and feels too small even though it is your size.I bought Topo 7.5 which is what I wear. They would allow thicker socks too because they are soft and roomy yet keep the feet in place due to their good arches and soles. I also like that they are only 4mm drop and are not making my feet slide forward and hit the toes. Starting to run is a bit more difficult but it's OK. I also like that they are very lightweight and have quite a flexible sole.
Love the wide toe box and arch support!
I had ordered a pair of slipon Topos, but they were a bit too snug around the top of my foot so I got these with laces. I love them! they’re very comfortable. I am a teacher and on my feet all day. I am excited to try them out. I’ll report back if something goes wrong with them.
