I very much enjoyed my first pair of Sketchers Glide Step Trail shoes with memory foam inserts and Goodyear soles. The shoes were extremely comfortable. Hence why I ordered a replacement pair. However the new pair have a much harder Goodyear sole than my orig.pair and You can actually hear when I walk across our wood floors at home. Notably different than the orig. So buyer beware and sirry to report that the current model Trail Guide Step is by far not the same shoe as was produce 10 to 12 months ago. It's definitely feels like a different composition. Harder and Stiffer than the original design. ( Likely another 3 cent cost cutting idea ruining a good design)
Good walking shoes comfortable
Got this shoe for walking. GOODYEAR tread was a plus since normal Skechers tread wear so quickly. No regrets so far.
