When it comes to trail running, the Saucony Women's Peregrine 8 stands out as a top contender due to its thoughtful engineering. The EVERUN topsole plays a significant role in enhancing comfort by providing responsive cushioning that adapts with each stride. This feature ensures that you remain energized even on long runs over rough terrain.
The ISOFIT dynamic upper is another highlight, offering a customizable and secure fit that conforms to your foot’s shape. This makes it particularly beneficial for those who experience discomfort with traditional lacing systems.
In terms of traction, the PWRTRAC outsole grips a variety of surfaces remarkably well. Whether you're navigating rocky paths or muddy trails, you can trust this shoe to keep you stable. However, it's important to note that while these shoes excel in off-road environments, they may not perform as well on paved surfaces due to their aggressive tread design.
The overall durability of the materials used also speaks volumes about the shoe’s longevity, making it a worthy investment for serious trail runners. Moreover, its machine washability adds convenience for maintaining cleanliness after those messy trail escapades.

The tread on these shoes are amazing for trail running, the color is great and they are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever owned.
I have been running in Asics forever but decided to try these after Asics keeps discontinuing my shoes. I don't run on trails but figured I would give these a shot because the sole looked like the right shape for me. These have been great for running so far. I did wear them hiking, which was nice for the traction. I have not had any blisters or foot issues, and there was no breaking in period. I do have a narrow foot and they are a little roomy, but tying them tight helps. The sizing is off - I wear a 7 in Asics but I had to get an 8 in these shoes. I have already ordered another pair of the Peregrine 8's because I'm not sure if the next model will be the same.
Love these shoes. I was able to wear them out the first time on a run and hike and they didn't hurt my feet. Super comfortable. Fit my standard size. I like that they are light weight and the grips are deep and very effective.
These shoes are very comfortable, but run very small. I usually wear a 7-7 1/2 regular shoes, and an 8 in athletic shoes. I ordered an 8 in these, and my toe is almost to the toe box, and I can feel slight pressure after long walks. Since I've worn them a few times, not sure I can exchange, but outside of the size issue, they are very cute, and comfortable... just make sure to order at least a full size up.
I have wide feet and high arches. I bought a pair of these somewhere and when they finally ripped out, I was so glad to find the same brand on here. They fit very close to my other pair. So comfortable when you are on your feet all day! And lots of traction. I have 4 bad discs in my back so I need good traction. I even use these in the winter if the snow isn't too high.
I've had several pairs of Saucony walking shoes. My foot is a bit on the narrow side and I've had great luck with this brand. I owned these shoes in gray and wore them out and wanted a new pair so purchased them in maroon. They are very comfortable and have great tread on the bottom. I have hiked in them and feel like they have great traction. My only complaint is that my last pair split a little bit near the little toe and toe box. I'm not sure if it was caused by my walking pattern or not but loved them so much I was willing to try out another pair.
These shoes fit great, but had to order a half size bigger than I usually wear. So comfy though, definitely worth the money!
This is my second pair of these trail runners. I bought my first at a local running store. After years of wearing hiking boots, I realized that trail runners are so much better for the kind of hiking I do. They are cooler, lighter and have more flexible grip than boots. My original pair lasted 2.5 years and hiked many hundreds of miles The version I just received are even more comfortable than my first pair. Highly recommend.
