This is my everyday work shoe. I bought this about a week ago to replace another pair that tore in two places in the toe area. This has a thicker tougher material at the front that I know can withstand tears. This shoe is comfortable. I work in a school and I am on my feet daily, so I needed something that would last and has a name I trust. I use Saucony for my running shoes and have not regretted this once I was properly fitted (for a running shoe). The brand delivers. Love this pair of shoes.
I have been buying Saucony shoes for years and these no not disappoint! They fit great, last quite awhile (I walk every morning) have a good arch and the colors are fun - win win win win!
I am so glad I gave these a chance. Not my usual style, but the most comfortable and supportive workout shoes I have ever had.
I've worn Saucony almost exclusively for about a decade. They fit my feet. They're comfortable. I like them. When I ran, I would get a replacement pair for running and then use my previous running shoes for my everyday outings shoes. When I gave up running, I continued to purchase Saucony. Recently I had about reached the point where the holes in the tops of my shoes were about to completely open up to a point where they would no longer be useable, and decided to go back to 2 pairs - one for workouts and one for everyday and I needed to invest in both pairs at the same time. I decided on a pair of Cohesions for my everyday shoe, but wanted a different model for my workout shoes. I did a "what style works best with your feet" and Guides were on my list. I decided to give them a try even though they got mixed reviews. I put them on and they seemed comfortable. But after wearing them around my living room for about 15 minutes, I realized they weren't as comfortable as I'd hoped, so I returned them. They weren't really too small - they fit my feet as expected when I first put them on. The longer wear discomfort was more along the sides of my feet and may have been fine had I kept them and broke them in. I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from trying them. They were beautiful. I would have loved to wear them had they worked out. But as there was a sale with a similar price for another style of shoe that I'd previously worn, I decided returning these made the most sense at the time.
These shoes are very comfy and supportive. I went to a runner’s shop to find shoes, and these were recommended based on my feet and how I walk (my feet rotate inward when I walk). Since then, I have continued to purchase this same brand/style of shoe. I teach several different types of fitness classes each week - weights, dance fitness, HIIT, and my feet are supported in all movements I do.
Perfect quality, they are comfortable and it has a good price.
I was a bit nervous when I put these shoes on because I thought the color was too loud for me. I use them for walking. I am pleased to mention that I have received several compliments.
I usually buy the Brooks Adrenaline but decided to try the Saucony Guides because they are less expensive and I was interested in trying a shoe with a lower drop because I have knee pain and these are an 8 compared to the Adrenaline’s, which are a 12. At first I thought they were too stiff and didn’t feel as comfortable as the Adrenaline’s but the are actually great. Super stable, comfortable and my knees don’t hurt! I’m not a runner but I walk a lot and if you need a stability shoe with a straighter last ans a less intense drop, then these will work great!
