I was excited to see a new model in the Saucony trail lineup. The Xodus changes wildly year to year and Peregrine is always so narrow. This shoe seemed to be exactly what I wanted by description and some reviews. Roomier toebox, the carbon sole, springy. It just fits a half size too big. When Saucony runs true to size it's great but when it runs big it's awful. I wear the smallest size so I cannot just get a smaller one when they don't run true to size. If they make this again true to size I'd be all over them.
For the price that these shoes cost, I was disappointed in the quality. I was refunded and the return went well.
The shoe feels great on your foot… Very bouncy but not overwhelmingly so like a Hoka. Light weight with plenty of room
Terrible shoe, very uncomfortable, unstable, laces too short. They will make your stride go nuts. AVOID!
I mean I just don't know what else to say. after about 100 miles of running, I'd say I hit the sweet spot in the foam. very bouncy, you JUST WANT TO RUN FAST!!!!! idk what else to say! even for slower runs, this shoe is still great and still encourages you to move up the pace. in love and can't wait for gen 3 to be official!! needless to say I've hit only PRs on this shoe and have tried numerous others before settling and even while using this one, from Hoka to Brooks to Nike and in between yet nothing has been as great as these ones!
