The Saucony Boy's Peregrine Shield 2 Sneaker stands out due to its thoughtful combination of features that prioritize comfort and performance. The leather upper, complemented by water-resistant mesh, not only provides an attractive aesthetic but also ensures that the feet are shielded from moisture. The water-resistant run-shield technology is especially beneficial for those unexpected weather changes, allowing young runners to focus on their activities without worrying about wet socks.
When it comes to fit, the traditional lace closure allows for an adjustable feel, ensuring that the sneaker stays securely on the foot during play. Additionally, the EVA midsole delivers light cushioning, which aids in absorbing shocks while maintaining agility – vital for kids who are constantly on the move.
The rugged outsole is another highlight, designed to deliver impressive traction on varied terrains, making these shoes ideal for both trails and playgrounds. However, be aware that they might take some time to break in fully, as with many athletic shoes.
Overall, the Saucony Boy's Peregrine Shield 2 hits the mark for parents seeking a reliable yet stylish sneaker for their boys. While the laces may occasionally need retying during more intense activities, the overall benefits far outweigh this minor inconvenience.

My daughter has wide feet. It's hard to find shoes that fit them. The wide size in these was a perfect fit! Plus, they're super cute!
I know these are ‘girls’ but i have a 6 yo boy that loves purple- they are not too girly at all perfectly unisex- adequately wide as his feet seriously wide- they are on the shorter side for 2.5, they fit him perfectly but definitely will order 3s because he doesnt have any room to grow
These are incredible. Most shoes that we have bought for our son have ended ripped up and worn out. These are the exception. These Saucony’s are the only shoes that he has had the chance to grow out of (all of the other shoes have worn out before then). We just ordered our second pair; the first ones lasted a full six months!!! The attached photos you can see the pair that he out grew and the brand new ones we just got, you can hardly tell the difference! They’ve held up so well. Highly recommended.
It took me forever to find some shoes that went with my daughters uniform. Saucony always come through! I love the colors and the fact that they are waterproof was amazing. They fit a expected and my daughter loves them. Thanks!
The sneakers for my son true to size. The only negative is that the shoe laces constantly come untied even when they are double knotted!
Pretty much nailed all expectations. I've ordered a similar model a year ago and it was pretty much the only shoe my daughter would wear all year. This one replaces that model and she loves it just as much if not more. *note* we ordered the wide model, Saucony's are great in their fit for people with wide feet; I wear wide as well and it is the same for adults.
I love the color and had great grip. My son loves them. They are perfect.
These shoes are cute on our 5 year old but impossible for him to put on alone. They are stiff and difficult to get on; I replaced the laces with no-tie stretchy ones, but we stopped wearing them to preschool because they take too long to wrestle on him. He does not have a wide foot and the shoes are the right size but the design and material make them too hard to get on his foot. He wears a New Balance with velcro to school because they are much softer and he can put them on by himself.
