The Sansha Women's Recital II-W ballet slippers have made their mark in the world of dance since their inception in 1982 by Franck Raoul-Duval. His innovation—the split-sole ballet slipper—transformed the footwear choices available to dancers, offering them a glove-like fit that enhanced their performance. This particular model is designed not just for looks but also for functionality, making it an excellent option for both rehearsals and performances.

The single-sole design provides ample flexibility, allowing for natural movement during dance. However, some users have reported needing a brief break-in period before they felt completely at ease.
Design: Available in a lovely peach/pink satin combination, these slippers not only perform well but also look great on stage. The adjustable tie bow at the vamp allows dancers to customize their fit, ensuring that the shoes stay securely in place while performing intricate moves.
Durability: Made from high-quality materials, including a leather sole and satin outer, the durability of these slippers is commendable. They can withstand regular practice sessions, although care must be taken as they are designed primarily for indoor use.
Maintenance: One of the standout features is that these ballet shoes are machine washable, making them easy to maintain. Simply toss them in the wash after a long rehearsal, and they’re ready to perform again.

Beautiful but we had to return and order a bigger size because they were too small. I don’t know if we didn’t get the sizes or run small
I usually wear a 7.5 in street shoes , (Note - my foot measures 9 1/2 inches exactly from heel to toe - according to chart that is size 7.5, that's exactly my street shoe size), however these pointe shoes are not gonna be your street shoe size, , after reading a few reviews, I decided to try an 8. Turns out even an 8 sits way too tight. I returned an 8, got my refund within the 2 weeks. And instead, I got size 10, and it fit pretty good, but i almost wish it was just tiny tiny bit bigger. So basically, most of the reviews state shoe is too small. Its gonna be 2.5 sizes up from your street shoe size. If you are a 7.5 like me, order 10. If you are an 8, definitely go for 11. The shoe itself is good for the price, i like it. Doesn't come with a very good elastic though, mine ripped after a week and i just replaced it with a better quality elastic. The shoe is also kind of tough to break in.
Supportive, hard shank pointe shoes. The toe box and long wings are perfect for long toes.
I am a male dancer and do not perform on pointe but do at the advice of my instructor do pointe work for balance and strength. I used the sizing chart and ordered two sizes down fro my street size of size 10. The shoes came quickly and appear to be a quality shoe. The problem is I can't believe how small they run. I am unable to even get toes into the box and no way could I get the shoe on to my foot. Truly disappointed but rather than return them I am going to give them to one of the female dancers in my class. I am now of the opinion the only way to buy pointe shoes is to go in for a fitting. Advice would be to order the shoes at least the same as street size.
I just received this product in the mail a few days ago. I opened the package to only be disappointed, as they were much too small for my feet. The sizing chart is misleading and I advise anyone ordering these shoes to go to a different seller that allows for returns due to sizing errors.
I should point out, I am using these while doing a Ballet Beautiful mat workout - simply because I think they look pretty. I am not actually dancing en pointe in these. But for my uses, they are wonderful. I wear an 8 street size so ordered an 11 XW. They are wide enough and the perfect length. I am very happy I ordered them!
I ordered two sizes up and a wide width instead of my usually normal width, they were still a size too short, too narrow in the box, and far too rigid to even releve, let alone dance in them, without first some major breaking in crushing bending cutting etc. In summary - beautiful, top quality pointe shoes, but not for me. I’d suggest if you have normal width, order 3 sizes up, crush the box and break the shank.
I have large fit and have never been able to find large sizes that fit. These fit and are very comfortable.I wear a mens street shoe 9.5 wide. I've tried the old rule of adding 2 sizes, but they never fit and are horribly uncomfortable.Instead I decided to add 4 (14) and got a perfectly comfortable fit. My big feet are happy!
