When it comes to ballroom dancing, the choice of footwear can significantly impact your performance. The Sansha Women's Nina Ballroom Shoe excels in several categories, making it a popular choice among dancers.
Comfort: The Nina shoe is exceptionally comfortable once broken in, thanks to its glove-like fit. However, you may find that it requires a few sessions of dancing before it molds perfectly to your foot. It's advisable to select one size up from your usual street shoe for the best fit.
Performance: The suede sole allows for seamless gliding which is crucial in ballroom dance. You will appreciate the stability it offers during spins and quick movements. Dancers have consistently reported that they feel more confident and less restricted in these shoes.
Style: The strappy design not only enhances aesthetics but also contributes to secure fitting. It stands out as an elegant option for formal events, helping you make a statement on the dance floor.
Durability: While the satin material is susceptible to wear and tear, with proper care, including machine washing, the shoes can last through many performances. Remember, the suede sole is not meant for outdoor surfaces, so it's best to reserve these for indoor dancing.

I'm usually an 8.5 but these shoes are much smaller and narrow. The design is beautiful and the shoes are comfortable (very light). If you have a wide foot the little straps may bother you after a while. But it's a definitely good-looking shoe. Shiny (very) black will go well with elegant outfits. The ankle strap can be adjusted to your comfort--it slides into the buckle, so it's easy to put on and take off. Provides good arch support but the inside is soft and my toes want to slide forward... So I've shopped for a cushion pad to see if that works out. If I were at a store and could try 2 other options, I would. But I got these and they're good looking, comfortable, and not too expensive. So I'm going to try to make them work better.UPDATE--AFTER DANCING on 12/31: HIGHLY recommended! Didn't think about the shoes until it was time to go to bed!! I had them on for about 8 hours on hardwood floors and on the harder (cement type) dance floor. Didn't need cushion pads (tried them but they didn't make the shoe any comfortable). Ordering 1/2 size up worked out perfectly well. (Mind you, I was indoors all the time. If you're walking in the streets for a while, you'd probably ruin the suede soles.)
I ordered a size 10 in this shoe. When I tried it on, I was almost excited because I noticed it was narrow like my feet (shoes are usually too wide for my feet). But once I slid the shoe all the way on, my toes came so far out the front that it may as well have been a size 8. I have never seen a shoe that far off the mark when it comes to sizing.
I really like this pair of ballroom dancing shoes. It is stable, fit and comfortable. It looks great on my feet as well. I would highly recommend people to buy it.The price is good and reasonable compared with other expensive brands.
This is my very first pair of dance shoes and I must say they fit perfectly. I have checked many dance shoes websites prior to this purchase and was surprised how expensive dance shoes were on those websites. For similar pair they were asking between $75 and $100.These shoes are very lightweight and you feel like your feet are surrounded with finest feathers. You truly feel pampered. Heel is very stable. One thing I would recommend is to buy one size bigger than your usual shoe size. I am glad that initially I order both size 8 (my usual size) and size 9. Size 9 fits perfect.I have not danced yet in them so I will post more once I have my first dance lesson. I have a feeling that I will not be disappointed.Happy dancing!
My daughter has wide feet couldn’t even get them on so no idea on the length she wears size 5 women's we got 5.5 seems right length next to her foot.
For my upcoming dance competition, I ordered capezio dancesports Katusha 2.5 inch Latin dance shoe for $104 , Bloch 2 inch heel for $96 and this pair only cost me $40. Among 3 pairs, I had to return capezio as its the most uncomfortable one of 3 pairs. This pair is the most comfortable one & I love the double straps, which make me feel stable. I love it. Thank you!!! My casual sneaker is 6, slipper is 5.5 & Latin dance shoe is always 5 for an intimate touch with the floor although my SupaDance shoes for smooth dance is 6. you DO need to break into your Latin dance shoe, thus should be half size smaller than your regular size. IF you have wider bonier toes, this pair might not be for you
The shoes were too small, almost two sizes.
I country line dance four to five nights a week and was looking for a comfy heel to do so in because I needed heels to match my dress for New Year's Eve. Cowgirl boots just would not do for this occasion. I quickly fell in love with this shoe. The fit snug and comfy. They do exactly what I need from them. I am concerned about how quickly they are breaking in because I do not want to wear through them too fast. I keep proper care and never wear them outside. I strictly wear them on the dance floor or in the dance hall and keep them in their box at all other times. The fit was great. I bought them in the size I wear all shoes in and it works fine for me. I was having no problems with the shoe, until the front strap on my left shoe came unstitched and now I cannot wear them. I contacted the President of the company via email and have heard nothing. I hadn't even had the shoes for a month at the time. I loved the shoe, but now I am angry that I spent the money.
