The tendons in my feet don't hurt wearing these! I do a lot of walking and day hiking with my greyhounds. These have good grip and stability. Love that they're waterproof yet still breathable! Order 1/2 size down.
I bought these shoes for a trip to Egypt and Jordan and have been wearing them daily to break them in. I use my own special inserts. The shoes have a nice toe box and are lightweight. I feel like my heel and foot is stabilized in the shoe which should help when walking on rough terrain. While I can’t attest to their performance in The Middle East (haven’t gone yet), I will use these because they feel good and so far work well.
Good grip, waterproof, good cushion and comfortable. Only downside is that it runs a bit large. I would order half size smaller than you normally wear
I got these shoes last minute before starting the Camino de Santiago in Spain. I was very worried about it but my other shoes didn’t pan out so it left me no choice. THESE DID AMAZING. Up and down mountains in the rain. My feet stayed dry while my companions (who also purchased expensive trail shoes) where complaining and their shoes Fell apart at the end of the two weeks. Absolutely no blisters. Great support. Great tread. Built to last. I have no complaints and I do brag about them. They took about 3 days to break in.
I was so disappointed in these shoes. I have another pair of Solomon’s that I absolutely love and are so comfortable. It is amazing to hike in them. I loved the color of these and I’m about due for a new pair, tried these on, and they are not comfortable. The cushioning is poor, they are slightly narrow, and I do not have a wide foot, but I could not imagine taking any kind of a hike in these. Sent them back.
I normally wear a women's size . The description suggested I buy a 9.5 but I stuck to a 9. They fit perfectly. Zero "break-in" period. Very comfortable.
Super comfortable, no break-ins needed.The shoe does run large- but I put an insole inside, and it fits fine. Hiked during pouring rain and the shoe managed to keep my foot dry the whole time. Would def recommend it.
These were delivered 6/6. 90 days in and both shoes have rips in them. They were worn daily, but they should have held up for more than 90 days. They were comfortable and waterproof, and a great shoe, but for the price it’s very disappointing they broke down as quickly as they did.
