These are, by far, the best pair of shoes I have ever purchased. I have purchased two other pairs of Salomon trail running shoes, which I loved, and these far surpass even those.I went a full size bigger to accommodate thick socks, and they will be perfect. You may want to go a half size bigger. Especially if you will be using these in the winter.I didn’t buy wide, because I have a high arch and the regular width helps that, but if you are a wide, then definitely go with a wide. These are slightly on the narrow side, so keep that in mind.I bought this same size in other Salomon’s and the other ones were too big for even thick socks. These shoes are amazing and worth every penny. You will not be disappointed!
I own several of these in different colors; they are lite weight, love the lock laces and they have amazing tread and are mostly waterproof. Additionally they look good and are not bulky and hold my feet snuggly in a good way. Solomon has been making this model for years for a reason.
Shoes fit as expected in length in my regular size, and cradled my feet like a warm hug without even needing to bother with the laces. If I were a serious runner looking for a comfortable cushioned waterproof shoe with a glove-like fit, I would have been all about them. However they were a little to aggressively styled and futuristic for my more casual dog walking needs. I ended up going with the Solomon Outpulse GTX instead.
These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! I have broken all of my toes throughout life, but am very active and have a terrible time finding shoes that don't hurt my toes. I am on my feet walking 16-18 hours a day. These shoes are amazing!! I highly recommend them!!
Great shoe! Good grip on the bottom for hiking, walking or when needing extra grip especially on snow and ice. They are comfortable and fit as expected. They match the description. They arrived on time and no damage to the box. Would buy again. The shoes seem to last and are durable. Good quality.
Durable, Long Lasting, Dependable, Comfortable, Wearable for Hours, Versatile, stylish. This is my second pair and I may buy another one so I can always have a pair for many years to come! Two-Three years with one shoe that's not destroyed is well worth the $200 price tag!I'm hard on shoes, I'm a thru hiker, a gardener, and a daily dog walker! These shoes never disappointed in over two years till I just recently decided I cannot hike mountains with the tread warn down. That's the only thing, two and a half years and the tread lugs are worn. I still wear them around the yard, still waterproof and comfortable! I'm a believer of Salomon. I'm scared to try the GTX6 version but I know years down the road when I can't find these I will have to.
I absolutely love these sneakers! They are comfortable, make exercising a joyful experience and the traction for hiking is amazing!
Pretty good shoes for trail running. But it’s certainly for narrow feet. When I first got the shoes I was recovering from a cut on side of my feet. I could not put this shoes on for long period of time as it would squeeze my injury spot. I don’t have this issue with my other wider shoes. Now I have recovered from my injury, I can take good use of this shoes.
