The Salomon Men's Quest Rove Gore-TEX Trail Running Shoe stands out in the market for its exceptional blend of comfort, stability, and waterproof capabilities. The GORE-TEX lining plays a significant role in ensuring that your feet stay dry even in wet conditions. This feature is particularly beneficial during unpredictable weather or when traversing wet trails.
Comfort is another area where this shoe excels. Thanks to the cushioned sole and padded collar, you can comfortably wear them for extended periods without experiencing fatigue. Whether you're tackling steep inclines or rugged terrain, the shoe offers excellent support, making it easier to carry a heavy pack.
Moreover, the shoe’s durable leather outer provides additional protection against abrasions while also enhancing its lifespan. The Contagrip outsole delivers impressive traction, helping you navigate slippery surfaces confidently.
However, it’s important to consider some downsides. While the speed lacing system allows for quick adjustments, some users have reported difficulties in achieving a perfect fit. Furthermore, although the shoes are built for heavy-duty use, their price might deter budget-conscious buyers.
Overall, if you're an outdoor enthusiast looking for a robust, versatile shoe, the Salomon Quests Rove should definitely make it to your list of considerations.

Comfortable hiking shoes
The shoes were made well and looked great, but seemed a little small for the size. I typically find that 10 1/2 size works great, but with this shoe my toes were touching and the feel was very uncomfortable. I’ll have to try a 1/2 size larger for this brand.
Loved the shoe, but it fit a little tight on the sides and not enough wiggle room for the toes. After a full 12 hour day of work, my toes hurt.
Bought these for search and rescue and they are confortable for the long days and hikes.👍
3rd pair of Salomon boots, this pair is off the charts with support & comfort.
The quality is not good. The shoe is different from the picture.
I would like to know if they are really waterproof. because it says it's not!
