They run small so has to buy a size up but once we got the right size, love them. Good support. Will use for fairly light mostly flat hiking.
This is a great looking shoe and love the quick lace design, but you will need to size up because it definitely runs small by 1 size.
I bought these for my 12-year-old son, who is running on the cross country team for the first time. Because they cost quite a bit more than I usually spend on kids' sneakers, we got them a little big in hopes of getting two seasons out of them. My son only wears them for running, not as everyday shoes, and he is generally not hard on his shoes. He has used them for less than a month, and already, the lace on one broke and pulled out of the little plastic bits that join them together. Of course, this happened when he was already running late for practice, so there was no time to try to repair it. I helped him get them tied like normal laces so he could get to his practice. His first meet is in two days, so I just ordered him replacement laces --- for $18!!!!! 🤑🤯At this price point, I expect the laces to last for the life of the shoe, and $18 for shoelaces is a massive rip-off. I may experiment and see if normal laces will fit through the tiny eyelets. I cannot afford to be buying $18 shoelaces every month until these are outgrown. If the laces continue to break, and I cannot replace them with normal laces, his next pair of running shoes will definitely NOT be Salomans!Saloman, how about free replacement laces?
My kid thinks these are the best shoes he has ever had.
