Bought this shoe for use on the shooting range as I had bad experiences with Salomon.These Salewa shoes are a better fir and more comfortable. They grip very well on the soft grass or dirt surfaces. Nice orange color too!
Well-made like all Salewa shoes and boots.The style, although runs extremely narrow, and unfortunately, I had to be returned.
This is the most comfortable hiking shoe I've ever owned. They are light, breathe well, have decent arch support, and excellent traction. I'd argue the traction is almost too good, as I routinely trip on tree branches or rocks if I drag my feet. My other minor complaint is that the outsole tends to separate at the toe, where it's glued to the toe. This is my second pair that has done this.In short, while these aren't the most durable shoe, they are joy to take on the trail.
Very comfortable to wear and they really look great. I bought these for moderate trail hiking and needed them to have good traction on the sole which these have. I'll also use them for biking and now find myself wearing them for general use. My only modification will be to replace with thicker laces as the ones they come with are very thin. Tip: If you're between sizes depending on the shoe, go with a half size larger.

I like the shoes so much that I bought two pairs. However, one of the shoelaces snapped after wearing about three times. Shoelaces should last longer than that and now I have no idea where to get a matching replacement.
This is the second time I buy this model (I had the oldest version )Happy that they just improve them better.
