Users often rave about the comfort level provided by the performance EVA midsole, especially during prolonged periods of wear.
When comparing it to similar models like the Merrell Moab 2 and Adidas Terrex Swift R2, it's clear that the Dropline holds its own. While it may have a slight edge in weight, the other options may offer superior arch support, which is essential for some trekkers.
On the downside, if you have particular foot shape concerns, such as high arches, you might find the arch support on the Dropline lacking. Additionally, the sizing can vary, so it's wise to try them on before purchasing or check user reviews for specific guidance.

Great shoes. I used them on my CDT hike. Expect about 700 miles per pair and even then the shoe does not fall apart. The tread is gone though. I definitely recommend.
Really great sneakers for hiking. A bit small for my size, next time I'd prefer half size bigger
snug fit, comfortable, good grip, perfect hiker for me.
Dangerous shoes, be careful you can easily hurt your legs. I twisted twice with this harmful shoes. I never twisted before this harmful shoes.Salewa should recall this shoes.
For some reason this shoe was made with solid patch over the tongue on the shoe. Lets face it...the tongue is there to open up the shoe to put your foot in, then lace it up. The tongue is there, but is worthless as being underneath the solid patch of material. What is the purpose of that??!! Returned this shoe.
