Emerge 3D utilizes a new sustainable insole. This shoe features a targeted rubber outsole with some colorways containing reground rubber content. I think I bought a size bigger just to be safe. It looked bigger but when I wore it, it was perfect. I love the cushion feel and the fact that I can walk in it for several hours and not feel pain in my feet. Coming from someone who always experiences pain in her feet, this is a must have.
