This shoe truly stands out when it comes to performance, particularly for marathon runners. The FuelCell foam delivers an incredible energy return that allows you to maintain speed without excessive effort. Coupled with the Energy Arc technology, runners will find that they can store energy during each stride and release it effectively, boosting their overall efficiency.
The bootie upper construction offers not only a supportive fit but also prevents any unnecessary movement within the shoe. This snugness is especially beneficial for long-distance runs where even the slightest discomfort can lead to distractions. Additionally, the lightweight design helps minimize fatigue, allowing you to focus solely on your performance.
Built from synthetic material, the upper part of the shoe is not only durable but also breathable, ensuring your feet stay cool during intense workouts. The rubber sole adds an extra layer of robustness, making it capable of withstanding the rigors of both training and racing.
If you're a serious marathon runner looking to elevate your game, the New Balance Men's FuelCell SuperComp Elite V3 is worth considering. While it may not suit those just starting or running casually, the benefits provided are invaluable for those who demand top-tier performance from their footwear.

These shoes are of the limited carbon plated shoes available for wide feet. I used them for my 20 mile run and completed the 2023 Berlin Marathon with them. My feet felt great during and after the marathon, they are light weight and dry quick too. The cushion protected my feet and felt propulsion even when my feet were tired, the wide platform made them quite stable too. The lacing is a bit odd but as long as is not too tight, it’s ok. Unfortunately the white shoes are the only available for wide feet and they will get very dirty, but it’s worth it, the quality is good, they still look rather new and I will be using them on future races.
Super shoe that’s comfortable. Love it. Very light and bouncy.
I bought these for my son's birthday, and he LOVES them. They were pricey, but these replaced his previous shoes that didn't include a build in support (not sure what they call it). Anyway, he says that having that support build in is so much better than buying inserts. He loves these shoes!
Nike alphafly2 good, this one is good too and 700dollars cheaper, it comfortable for your feet. The only thing is that the bottom is not as thick as alphafly 2, so I am not sure if your knee will be protected as well as that one. The other thing is the bottom form is exposed to the ground and not covered by rubber layer, so it might be rested up if you stand on sharp things. I feel it more following my feet than Nike vaporfly, and not requiring a big arc of your feet as the alphafly does. It’s a good choice to me.
I don't recommend this shoes for race days. You can find better options. But! to training for the race are EXTRAORDINARY
I really like this shoe. I am on my second pair. I use them for easy runs, long runs and faster runs. They seem to get a little firm after about 250 miles.
Have ran a 10k and full marathon in these so far and they are super comfortable! Very light weight and very breathable. Only concern is the lace holders look a bit fragile as other reviews have mentioned.
Light shoe that's a great race shoe for me. I use NB 880s for my weekly long rungs at about 60 miles a week. These shoes feel amazingly light, and form to my feet, and I like that they feel grounded still. As in you're not running on a cloud or springing away. However, the heel collar/upper knit comprise of two separate materials and unlike most normal shoes that have a seamless transition, there's a clear seam that is felt. The problem is the heel collar has some type of plastic holding it rigid which wouldn't be a problem if it didn't poke out at the seam. Both my ankles were stabbed raw during a 5k.Also the lacing could be a lot better.Love the 880s and these feel like great race versions of them but I guess I'll have to stick to endorphins for race day until there's a version of these that have a well made upper knit.
