Shoes are amazing! Came quick! I use them for work. Very comfortably. Delivery was quick and I love the look. Very stylish, lightweight and trendy. Love them!
After spending like 2 months watching reviews on Youtube, and Tiktok and reading many Reddit posts, I decided to buy this pair of shoes. I spent much time researching because I knew the sizing of these was hard to get right. I'm an 8.5 true to size in Vans, Converse, Reebok, Adidas and Nike sneakers, but I bought an 8 (Wide) for the New Balance 990v6. They fit really well with this combination, I don't have wide feet but most people were saying that these are a bit narrow in the standard version, so I decided that I prefer to have a bit more room on the bridge. But I have to say, even going half-size down they fit a little big, so I think I could have gone with a full size down in wide. But in terms of comfort, going half-size down and wide I think was a great decision! In person, they look really fancy compared to the rest of my other shoes. I attached a comparison so you can see the difference in size between my true-to-size shoes and these New Balance, I hope that helps!
These are quite comfortable and well made. Very expensive though.
I have worn NB shoes when I was a runner. Tried other brands but always returned to NB. Best now at age 80 is their stability! Just right firmness adds to confidence in my balance. Too soft throws my balance off. Too firm flares my back pain. So NB is “just right”. Sounds like a fairy tale- but it’s not.
I just received the shoes today and worn them around the house, they are very comfortable and look great. I will update this if i find any problem but my experience with New Balance has always been great.
Great shoes to wear everyday10k-15k steps, but I don't not recommend for 25k-35k steps at Disney World. My feet shouldnt hurt after $200. Brooks and Hokas are the only shoes up for those kinda steps.
Been wearing New Balance for probably 15 years. Originally, they were stellar, but I like each new version slightly less than the previous. V6 is a total disaster.1. They hurt from day one. Seem to be made for people with flat feet.2. The tongue is about half as thick as V5 and rolls up into a ball and digs into the top of my foot.3. They look terrible. Note to marketing -- more complicated is not prettier.4. They are smaller in "height" and the laces cannot be pulled tight. At the top, I've had to leave them open about 3 1/2 inches to be able to wear them without constant pain.Wish they could be returned and will be looking for another brand. This is probably my last pair of New Balance anything.
New Balance 990 sneakers arrived on time. They look and feel great. This must be how Cinderella felt when she found her lost slipper.
