The shoes are well made and attractive but even choosing a size a tad larger than I usually wear these became painful and uncomfortable about 20 minutes into wearing them. I do have wider feet so that may be the problem - but I would recommended starting with a full size larger than you usually wear. I really do like the feel of them so I am hoping to wear them in a bit, but for now I can't use them for longer workouts without my feet aching.
I used to run in wave riders but after a couple of years break from active running I discovered that the 12mm drop was too much for me. This shoe has 8mm drop which feels perfect! The color is beautiful and they make me look taller
The Mizuno Women's Wave Sky 7 Running Shoes are very cushioned and springy. If you're looking for a barefoot feel, these are not the shoes for you. But if you want a high level of support, cushion, and a responsive ride, it's hard to find better running shoes. I'm also happy with the quality of the shoe. The material seems durable, and the stitching is well done. Additionally, the shoes are true to size, and the style and color options are great.
It has been a while since I have owned a pair of running shoes that felt like they were worth the higher price point. You can truly feel the difference in these shoes. They are very comfortable and provide great stability, even for a pronator. They look fabulous. I got the beveled glass-white color, it is vibrant and looks even better in person. I ordered a size 8.5 but wish I had ordered a 9. They fit a bit small, plus my feet are pretty wide and I think the larger size would have been a better choice. I really like these shoes, but they may not be the best fit for wide feet.
Make sure you order exactly your size do not go down and air on the side of larger if you’re between sizes. I have a narrow foot in ordered a 7 1/2 and should’ve gotten the eight where I normally could wear either or in a tennis shoe. These are so tight on my feet that I have to take them off at work and it’s a shame because they’re super cool looking and I like the way they feel as I step, other than it, squeezing my feet really bad
These shoes are comfortable. The first time I tried them on, I had never experienced a shoe like them. It almost felt like they were rolling with my feet, so I was exerting less effort to walk. Over time, I became more use to this, and the novelty of it wore off, but it was such an interesting and new feeling initially. It doesn't seem as padded as some of my other running shoes, so I don't prefer them for days I'm just standing on my feet a ton. However, they are nice to walk in. They seem sturdy. One thing I like, is that the sole never has to be readjusted and replaced like some of my other running shoes. It tends to stay down. Initially, I rarely have to bend down to get these on my feet, I just slip them on.They feel a little more narrow than what I'm use to, but it's not bothersome. They feel like a quality shoe. No regrets getting them.
This pair is my first experience with Mizuno, and I am truly satisfied with the quality of the product. These shoes have elevated my running experience. These shoes excel in comfort and performance, with plush cushioning that feels like running on a cloud. The durable construction and snug fit provide exceptional support, and their outstanding traction ensures stability on any surface. Beyond functionality, their stylish design adds to their appeal. These versatile shoes adapt seamlessly to different activities, making them a top choice for both seasoned runners and newcomers to fitness. In short, these sneakers are a game-changer, offering an unbeatable combination of comfort, support, and style that enhances any workout.
