When you slip on the Mizuno Women's Wave Rider 26, you're not just putting on a shoe; you're gearing up for an experience. The engineered jacquard mesh upper is crafted for breathability, ensuring that even during those grueling long-distance runs, your feet remain comfortable and dry. This feature is particularly beneficial during warmer months when heat can cause discomfort.
The standout element of this shoe is undoubtedly the MIZUNO ENERZY FOAM. It's designed to provide unparalleled softness and resilience, allowing you to maintain speed and agility without sacrificing comfort. This foam enhances responsiveness, making transitions smoother as you shift from heel to toe.
Additionally, the MIZUNO WAVE plate ensures that energy from every footfall is effectively distributed, providing both stability and effective cushioning. As a result, you'll notice less fatigue over longer distances, enabling you to push through those last few miles without compromising your form.
Another highlight is the X10 outsole, which is built from a durable carbon rubber that can withstand the harshest road conditions. This means that you won't have to worry about wear and tear, allowing you to enjoy your runs without constantly checking your shoes.
While the Wave Rider 26 excels in many areas, it may not cater to every runner's needs, especially those looking for a stability shoe. However, if you're a neutral runner looking for durability paired with unmatched comfort, these shoes are definitely worth considering.

Exactly as posted, comfortable shoe, plenty of toe room.
This shoe definitely runs small. I normally wear 7.5, ordered 7.5 W but never received that particular size. So figured I should order a size up and the 8 fits good. I thought if you ordered 7.5 W, that should be on the shoe/shoe box but I never could receive this size. That being said, a size 8 did fit me better so hopefully my feet at work will be happy.
Have had many waveriders, and they always feel so great on my feet.
Cushy ride but very short and very narrow. I wear a normal shoe size 8.5 but I like extra space in my running shoes so wear a 9, which is perfect space in the Brooks Ghost. Size 9 was way too short and narrow for the Mizuno. I went to a 9.5 and i wear it but it's still too snug and short. I won't do more than short runs in these shoes. The good thing about these shoes is that the fabric mesh upper is suuuuuuper flexible. They stretch really well when I start running. Still too snug and narrow, which is probably just the style. That said, I adore the look of these shoes! This color is gorgeous.
I am a Mizuno loyalist and buy a new pair every 16 months or so. The edition of shoe doesn’t matter to me so long as they’re Wave Riders. These were on sale so I got them for almost half off, which was an incredible deal given the quality and sturdiness of the shoe. Normally I am a size 9 but I always buy Mizunos in a size 9.5 and they fit perfectly every time. The color is great, too!
Love this sneaker, I’ve been a Saucony wearer for many, many years. I discovered this sneaker in the running store five years ago. The salesperson highly recommended this sneaker over Saucony and I’m so happy I bought it. I’ve worn my original Waves those five years- running daily. They’ve held up well but when the sale popped up on Amazon I bought one pair and then realized the new models have more cushion, arch support and felt wider. Perhaps it was just time to retire my five year daily wear M’s.. Since the new Wave was on sale I bought several colors, one for museums and site seeing, another for my home workouts, an extra pair for the future. They are a perfect fit, lots of wide room and space at the toe area, great arch support and cushion. Happy customer!
I have worn Mizuno Wave Riders for over 10 years. Generation to Generation, they fit perfectly and I run. This Generation is a good half to full size bigger. (I will have to research to see what I should order. ) The shoe is a full half inch, at least, longer than previous generations. Pure disappointment as I was looking forward to running in my pretty new blues (with fresh soles/support) this morning!
I have a flatter foot and these provide just the right support for me. They were great for 25k-30k step days at Disney. I was afraid they would get dirty easily with the light color but have surpassed my expectations.
