Excellent Shoe, 8.5

I run about 30-40 miles a week. I have an issue with over pronation. I usually buy another brand shoe and get inserts. I did quite a bit of research and these were highly recommended. These shoes are the best that I've ever bought that were great straight out of the box. If I find ones I like I try to buy at least one more pair. I just got back from a 5 mile run, with my first time with these and I'm on here to buy 2 more pair. I am more than happy with them. Comfort and stability. Not sure about the sizing issues with others, but I usually wear an 8.5 and orders that with these shoes and they fit perfect. Also the cost on Amazon compared to other sites is between $65-$35 cheaper.

I love the support this shoe provides especially since I have very flat feet and overpronate. I really love the style and color as well, usually the athletic shoes I find for overpronation are not very aesthetically pleasing. The only issue I have is that the fit was very tight and I don't have wide or narrow feet, I am regular. I was told these shoes run small, I am a size 7 in regular shoes however I always purchase a half size up in athletic shoes so I ordered a size 7.5 for this pair. I was considering returning this pair due to the tight fit however I placed a shoe stretcher in both shoes for a few hours and tried them on again. Once I put them on they were no longer tight and my feet could breath! I just couldn't handle the discomfort of waiting to break them in which is why I decided to use a shoe stretcher.

I love these shoes! Amazing arch support!!!

I got these because honestly, the price was right and the Asics I tried were too narrow, while Mizuno had a wide width.I am so glad I did. I have some severe overpronation as well as very high arches and I had been getting by with my Vionics flip flops because they have amazing arch support. Even so, we are soon to take a trip to Disney, and I wanted some athletic shoes as well. These did not disappoint, and I now have 3 pair, all equally broken in. I love how cushiony they are, and how well the arch support holds up. I can wear these with little discomfort while just standing, even when my plantar fasciitis flares up, and if you've ever dealt with PF, you know how quickly a short wait on your feet can turn into absolute torture as the tendons contract.I will be sticking with the Mizuno Paradox Wave shoes, and am actually just waiting for the 3 to go down in price before picking up a pair of those as well! If you need good arch support, these are the shoes to get!!!

Not the real deal

Look good, but too stiff to be real Mizunos. Great price of they were real, but too expensive for just a generic running shoe.

Mizuno Paradox comparable to Asics Kayano

I have found when ordering Mizuno's to order a half size up to get the correct fit for my foot. I am just getting back into running after a 3 year hiatus due to tarsal tunnel syndrome and a subsequent surgery. In the past I have worn Asics Kayanos. I found these to be a very comparable option. The paradox has provided me the support and cushioning I need. My foot was less sore after my first run with these shoes and has improved with each run. The price was much more affordable then the Kayano and now I can purchase 2 pair for les than one Kayano.

Just and okay shoe

I was disappointed with this shoe. It was very cute and the price was great. I tried them on and was immediately surprised at how they felt like they were squeezing my toes. I just thought maybe it was the cushioning. I did the shoe size fit button and they told me I should order them in a size 8 which I wear a 7.5, so I did. Needless to say just by walking around the house they hurt my feet so bad I had to return them. I did order Mizuno Wave Legend 3 in my 7.5 size and they are awesome. Great support, plenty of cushioning and can wear them all day with no discomfort. I started running recently from brisk walking, and these are great on my feet. I have always been a Nike person, but after having problems with two Nike air types, I gave up. Too expensive for them not to hold up.

Second time's a winner!

Ordered an 8 1/2 and they were too short. Returned them and ordered a 9, which is a little wide in the toe box, but fits my narrow foot and gives good arch support.

Functional and Fabulous

I am an over-pronator who runs about 8 miles/week (2 intervals of 4 miles), outside. These fit good, do a good job of stabilizing my feet, and are light! Unless something better comes along - I have officially transitioned from a New Balance 990, which kinda set the standard for over-pronators, to a Mizuno Wave Paradox girl -- it's lighter and cuter!
