I travel with this shoes , very comfortable!!
What I overlooked when I ordered these is that the tongue area does not open up - the entire shoe is made of stretchy material that expands to allow your foot in and then contracts back to fit your foot. The problem for me is that I have big feet and I wasn't sure I could get the smallish opening over my clodhoppers. In fact, I couldn't do it myself this morning - my husband helped me pry them on. The back of the shoe has a loop to aid this process, but it would really help if the area where the tongue would be had one too. Then again, if you don't have Cinderella step-sister feet like I do, this might not be a problem for you. I am hoping that over time the material will stretch just enough to make it easier for me to put these on myself.Once on, these shoes are amazing. Extremely comfortable straight out of the box. The form-fit means that they adapt to the shape of your feet, including my funky bunions and high arch. The shoes are cushy yet very supportive. There is no toe pinch or heel rub. They are comfortable and balanced to walk in. The material appears to be durable and I expect these shoes to last a long time (which, for over $200, they darn well should). These are, of course, athletic shoes, so the real test is how they work for running, working out or playing sports. I have not yet tried them for that purpose, but they feel solid and they help your feet roll and avoid high impact while providing support and balance. I think these are great all-around shoes and I am very pleased to have them.
These Mizuno shoes are super comfortable to wear and they are easy to slip on and off. I like the fabric, but I wish that there was more arch support. Because the fabric is so stretchy, my feet slip a bit more than I'd like. Still, they are comfortable to wear while out and about, but I'll stick to my other pair of athletic shoes for more strenuous workouts. If you have normal arches, these might work just fine, but with my flat feet, I just need more support. These shoes are obviously high quality.Pros: Easy to wash, Easy to put on, and the heel is super springy.Cons: Lacks more arch support, fabric doesn't hold foot in place as well as I'd like.
I’ve ran 3 times in (4-5 each time)these Mizuno womens running shoes and walked 3 miles on incline. I normally wear a wide Brooks even though I have a narrow foot. I need a wide toebox and that was my only concern with these shoes. I was very relieved to find that my toes had plenty of room to spread. These shoes do not have a tongue which was odd at first but I ended up really liking that feature. I felt that they fit more like a glove without the bulk of the tongue along with the stretch material of the shoe itself. They are very lightweight shoes that had no problem supporting my high arch. The true test was seeing if they aggravated my runners knee and they did not. I’ve only ever ran with Brooks but I believe I may have a new running shoe! I have only used these on the treadmill, not the road. I am going to continue to put the miles on these and if there should be any changes to the way that they affect my feet/knees I will be sure to update. Highly recommend! For reference, I normally wear a size 9 and that is what I ordered. I just wanted to make sure that my toes had plenty of room and I feel that this was a good fit. They fit just right!
I love these running shoes! Very lightweight. Supportive with a comfortable fit. There’s enough room for me to put my custom orthotics easily inside. Lots of cushion and bounce when I run. The shades of blue are eye catching. The bottom of the shoe has a really cool design. Great running shoes for any level!
