Fitness Background: Getting back into Half Marathon form while also training for my first full marathon.Miles Per Week on Purchase: 10-12Current Miles Per Week: 20-24Weight: 176lbsHad the previous version of this, but it felt too snug. One foot would ache and the other would go numb about the 3 mile mark every time. But I liked the shoe. I still wear it for day to day stuff cause it looks good.So I ordered this despite only having like 50 miles on the previous version, but in 2E/Wide. PERFECT. My foot has a little room to move and once it swells it fits absolutely perfectly.I've used this shoe on concrete, asphalt, and gravel trails. Absolutely zero complaints. Still learning how long it'll take me to wear 'em out. I'm at 254.6 miles as of writing on these bad boys, but I feel like they got more in the tank. I like 'em so much I have preemptively bought a second pair of them for once the first pair finally needs to be retired.
I have wide feet (4E) and these (when 2E) are just as wide as asics 1000, or brooks adrenaline/addiction/dyad/beast 4E at the base but with a little less fabric on top (when laced up the tongue looks wider). These do not have a hard ridge on the sides that would dig into your foot if your foot hangs over the sides which is a problem with brooks dyad and addiction.Compared to the previously mentioned shoes, these run 1/4-1/2 size small in length. The cushioning amount is more than asics less than brooks, cushioning style is soft, the arch is more than asics similar to brooks in height, and they feel as light as asics and lighter than brooks.The fabric is such that i needed zero break in time.
I wear a 14 2E shoe so those aren't easy to come by. I have always enjoyed Mizuno brand shoes as I think they are well made and fit my foot well. These are no exception. They are very comfortable to wear and I walk a lot through the day. We will see how the outside material holds up over time and that will be a big judgement point for me. But for the sale price these were at, it was a great deal.
Wears a long time. I bought these before visiting my daughter in San Diego. Glad I did. Wore them every day.
These Mizuno shoes are extremely well constructed to be durable and sturdy, yet lightweight and great looking. I would definitely recommend. Also fast shipping.
This is a very comfortable walking/jogging shoe. The quality is what you would expect from a mizuno product. If there is any negative it is that they fit a little tight.
I haven't had a pair of Mizunos in over 25 years and I wish I had given them a shot sooner. These are the most comfortable sneaker I have had in a very long time. Great fit, great support, and I can walk all day in them without any issue or foot fatigue. I just hope they last a while!
These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn in a long time. I bought these because a friend recommended them, I am on my feet on concrete for 9–10 hours a day and blow through shoes pretty regularly. These are made well and I think will hold up.Also, their customer service is top notch! I had an issue with them and they contacted me immediately to resolve my issue! Will definitely buy more pairs!!
