When it comes to running shoes, comfort and performance are key. The Mizuno Men’s Wave Inspire 18 excels in both areas. The MIZUNO ENERZY foam stands out for its ability to absorb shock while providing an agile push-off, which is crucial for maintaining speed. You’ll appreciate how this shoe feels plush without weighing you down.
The MIZUNO WAVE plate further elevates the performance by distributing impact forces evenly across the shoe. This unique design reduces the risk of injury, as it minimizes stress on your joints—an essential aspect for serious runners. Additionally, the U4ic midsole contributes to shock absorption and responsiveness, resulting in a smooth transition from heel to toe.
The X10 outsole's durability is another highlight, made to withstand wear and tear from frequent runs on hard surfaces. Meanwhile, the engineered mesh upper ensures you stay cool and comfortable, accommodating long-distance runs or high-tempo training sessions.
However, while the fit is generally secure, those with wider feet may find the Inspire 18 slightly restrictive. Furthermore, if you require more significant arch support, you might want to consider custom insoles or alternative models designed for that purpose.
Overall, if you're looking for a well-balanced running shoe that combines comfort, stability, and durability, the Mizuno Men’s Wave Inspire 18 is an outstanding choice that could enhance your running experience.

Got this shoe for some running/walking. Good stability, support and firmness. Tried Asics and Brooks shoes but they were a bit softer. Since I'm well past my 30's i felt i needed a slightly firmer shoe for cushioning. This shoe was perfect, just a little firmer than the Brooks and it felt better on my foot. My foot is a little wider and this was a good fit. Heel stability and cushioning were good and the shoe felt solid while running.
I have wider feet that have a tendency to roll inwards when I run. These shoes fit perfectly and have given me great support during my first week of runs. I've had Mizuno Wave Riders a decade ago and they were great shoes. Now I'm wondering why I ever left Mizuno. Will be a Wave Inspire loyalist in the years to come
Very sturdy - comfortable. Mizunos are always a good choice.
I am been with Mizuno for the last 13 + years and I love the shoes and fit perfectlyI have a high arch and the stability shoes gives good support and best results.
Great price, great fit, great quality. What more can you ask for from a shoe. Thank you Amazon for continuing to offer great value from this great shoe.
Love these Mizuno’s. shoes have a really great color scheme, and they are very comfortable. I am planning on going on a trip in about a week, so I thought I might need to break these in first. Had them on just the other day, probably for a few hours, and there was no discomfort whatsoever. The shoes are lightweight, the outside of the shoe is comfortable on the foot, and There is plenty of padding on the insole, without having too much either in the fore foot or the rear foot.
If you overpronate and need a stability shoe, check out Mizunos. For me, I've found the Wave Inspire model works the best. I can wear these shoes all day without feeling like they need to come off. Mizunos are well built and are very functional. If you're looking to try another stability brand, you won't go wrong with Mizunos!
Very comfortable shoe that provides good support.
