The Mizuno Men's Wave Rider 26 stands out primarily due to its advanced midsole technology. The MIZUNO ENERZY FOAM provides an incredibly plush feel while maintaining the responsiveness needed for speed. This balance is essential for long-distance runners who might struggle with fatigue over time.
In terms of fit, the engineered jacquard mesh upper contributes significantly to comfort and breathability. It adapts well to the shape of your foot, offering support without compromising on ventilation. However, some users have mentioned that the shoe can feel slightly narrow, which may not suit those with wider feet.
The outsole of the Wave Rider 26 is another key highlight. The X10 carbon rubber enhances durability, ensuring that these shoes can withstand the wear and tear of frequent running. Whether you're hitting the pavement or taking on trails, the grip offered by this outsole gives you confidence in varied conditions.
When comparing the Wave Rider 26 to competitors like the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 and Adidas Ultraboost 22, it's clear that each shoe has its own strengths. The Wave Rider focuses more on cushioning and energy dispersion, while other models may prioritize weight or breathability.

I have been looking for a walking a shoe that I not only find comfortable but also like the look of. I am on my feet all day at work and I am used to wearing canvas high tops or boots. I have tried the plusher brooks ghost max and asics cumulus. Both were far too soft and I did not like the way my foot sank and moved around (safe to say I am not a fan of the whole plush faze, which I guess would make sense for running but so many people use them for walking which seems unessecary?). It also seems harder to push off when you are walking. I have the new balance 880, which I like much more because it is firmer and conforms to my foot very well, but it feels a tad minimalistic.Today I got this shoe in the mail. After my initial try on it seems to be the shoe I've been looking for. I like the look of the harbor mist colorway, it conforms to my foot very well and feels solid and substantial. If you are looking to transition from boots or canvas shoes to a running/walking shoe, you might want to give these mizuno's a try.
I have used Hoka, Asics, and Mizuno. By far mizuno is the most durable and comfortable.
There comfortable, nicely padded for running, and a great color.
These kicks are seemingly very nice quality. Extremely light in comparison to prior shoes. Fit is great and arch support is very good!
I bought these Mizuno running shoes a few months ago and after my other running shoes 'expired' I laced them up and went for a run. I always buy 4E shoes, but as many of you know, they are becoming as rare as a two-headed tortoise. So I bought the 2E shoes and was pleasantly surprised by their comfort and support. They are a bit snug with orthotics but not in any way restrictive. The run is easy, the heel to toe drop moderate, and they appear to be quite durable. Definitely recommended.
I’m a generously sized gentleman, 5 11, 190. These shoes fit and my feet don’t hurt after a day walking on concrete floors.
First they're gorgeous, I love the colors. They feel wonderful, and the way they hug the heel is crazy. Relatively light weight and comfortable. It is a neutral running shoe, exactly what I was looking for. Haven't put many miles on them yet so durability is to be determined. So far so great!
I have purchased several pairs over the years for my sun who runs five miles a day, six days a week. He loves them! They are comfortable, have great support and wear well. Also, true to size. Excellent value and reasonably priced.
