I bought a pair of these in 2021 for trail running, and I liked them so much I bought a second pair! Unfortunately I have very narrow feet - I wear a size 10.5-11 with a 4" heel - and it's a pain in the feet to find a shoe that won't slip & slide around as I move. These Karacals hug my narrow feet well - in over 1000 kilometers of running & walking they have not slipped or slid around at all. Previous running shoes have consistently rubbed blisters into my ankles, but these have given me nothing but solid performance. I can run up dirty, dusty trails as fast as my body can go, and then turn around to run down them without worrying about slipping.In my opinion La Sportiva has the quality that is worth the cost.
I have a narrow "B" wide heel and these fit great. Currently walking 5 miles per day and my feet, ankles & knees are feeling fine.
