The La Sportiva Mens Bushido II GTX offers exceptional performance tailored for trail running enthusiasts who venture into unpredictable weather conditions. The shoe's standout feature is its waterproof protection provided by the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit Membrane, which allows for a snug fit without adding unnecessary bulk. This is particularly beneficial for those wet, muddy runs where moisture management is crucial.
The underfoot experience is designed for versatility; the FriXion XT V-Groove2 outsole provides excellent grip on both dry and wet surfaces, making these shoes reliable companions across varying terrains. Furthermore, the slip-on construction wraps around your foot akin to a second skin, promoting impressive stability during dynamic movements.
However, potential buyers should be aware that the lightweight design may come at a cost in terms of durability when compared to more robust options. Some runners have reported needing a brief break-in period to achieve maximum comfort. Overall, if you're looking for a trail running shoe that excels in waterproofing and grip, the La Sportiva Bushido II GTX should be high on your list.

I hiked in deep snow and extremely rough, mountainous terrain during the summer with these, they perform well.Just ordered my second pair. I normally wear a size 13+, but for these I order size 14.
It looks stylish but that's about it. I had to go up one and a half sizes than normal to get something that fit and even that is kind of tight.
Fit as expected. Light-weight, but stiff enough sole for rocky terrain.
I love the shoes for their tight fit and grippy soles. I HATE these shoes because the laces fail before the shoe and finding replacement laces is near impossible. The laces they come with are skinny and replacement laces are typically not. When laces are replaced it becomes 10x harder to tighten them up on my feet. Just make the lace loops bigger.I have bought 3 pairs, so I'm a glutton for punishment.
For how much you pay for these shoes they should not hurt your feet.
