I am on my feet all day as a teacher's aid. I walk and stand, rarely do I sit. I am 60 years old and very active. But my feet really started to hurt, like I couldn't recover day to day. My son recommended these so I tried them. They are pricey! But if your feet hurt all the time, and these relieve it,it is worth it.
I tried several types of Hoka Shoes, before actually realizing exactly what was wrong with my feet. I have both Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis and the shape of the shoe was wrong for my misshapen foot. That doesn't stop me from recognizing a good shoe when I see one and I was impressed with the construction and the amount of thought that went into the design of all the Hoka shoes I tried on. If they fit you, I would suggest you try a pair, especially if you want a pair of shoes with a great deal of cushioning. I regret that none of them fit me but I need a shoe with a wide toe box but a narrow heel.
While they seem wide across the toebox, they are a perfect fit. I wholly recommend to anyone with knee or ankle injuries, like myself. They are cushioned and easy in the joints.
The arch support is too high for average feet
These were great for about a month. I got these at the end of August 2023, wore them for work 4 days a week starting September, I walk a lot outside for work but nothing to crazy. It's November 3rd, 2023 and I can feel the pavement through the center already and there is a very pronounced differencebetween the heel where the cushion or rubber is still fine, and the ball of the shoe where it is almost worn through....for almost $200 I expected more longevity. These wore down ridiculously fast. If you want something that would last and expect to walk more than 2 miles a day in them....these are not them. But yea they were comfortable the first month or so
My friend suggested HOKA for the comfort and arch support. They are a very comfortable shoe and actually very stylish. The only thing I didn't like about this tennis show/sneaker is I feel like it makes my feet look larger than my actual size. The width of the shoe is a little clunky looking, but it's so comfortable and cute design I gave it a 5 star review.
Best show for standing all day! Light & very cushiony w/ more than enough support. I’m a PE teacher & I have to say these trump my Brooks & exceed ASICS in comfort. Worth the money!! 👏
I done my research before buying these shoes talked to several nurses and runners who worr them. My fiancee had bad pain all up her right side from her foot up to her back so I ordered the shoes in hopes to make her daily routine a lil more enjoyable and the HOKA shoes did the trick. I highly recommend them every time she wares them she has no pain
