When it comes to trail running, comfort and durability are paramount, and the HOKA ONE ONE Mens Speedgoat 4 excels in these areas. The EVA foam midsole provides an exceptional level of cushioning, which is especially important for tackling steep inclines and challenging descents. The lightweight design of the shoe allows you to maintain speed without feeling weighed down, making it ideal for long-distance efforts.
The waterproof Gore-Tex upper is a standout feature that ensures your feet remain dry even during wet conditions. This makes the Speedgoat 4 a reliable choice for all-season runners. Additionally, the breathable lining minimizes moisture buildup inside the shoe, contributing to overall foot hygiene.
One of the highlights is the Vibram Megagrip sole, featuring 5mm lugs that provide excellent traction. Whether you’re navigating rocky paths or muddy trails, these shoes offer confidence-inspiring grip, allowing you to focus on your performance rather than worrying about slipping.
However, despite its numerous advantages, there are some points worth considering. The price tag may deter budget-conscious shoppers, and new users might find the initial fit slightly stiff until broken in. Furthermore, if you're used to more flexible footwear, the Speedgoat 4's construction may feel a bit restrictive at first.

Good product did not fit right
First off the seller was terrific because USPS almost ruined the sell with horrible tracking. The shoe themselves fit great, really comfortable and look much better than pictured.
So far I love these shoes. My doctor recommended them and they are very comfortable and my feet feel great in them.
I walked one mile in these shoes and I felt like I was walking on platform shoes. I bought them for trail shoes and being older, I know I would trip on a rocky trail. I thought because the tread was not as aggressive that it would be a smoother ride but the extra sole width made it worse. I also know that I would be more likely to turn my ankle in a higher ride shoe.
This product arrived on time and as per specifications. This was my first time purchasing a Hoka One One branded shoe. The fit was nice and snug, and so far it has proven ideal as a walking shoe. I must say, however, that when I tried running in this pair of shoes, my feet felt really stressed. Maybe it was just me, as I tend to keep very active throughout the day. All the same, I do feel as though that was worth mentioning. Probably good as a long-distance (hiking) walking shoe or training for sprinters.
Bought these for my husband and he loves how they feel. He uses them for everyday use and for running at the gym. Best birthday present this year :)
The heel on the left shoe is messed up and uncomfortable, I am very displeased and am unsure if I can return these since I already wore them
The most long term comfort active/work sneaker I have ever worn. Less impact on all joints less leg/shin/foot fatigue. Rock solid ergo performance. The rubber on around the soles are pitting a little after a month of daily heavy/urban terrain
