I was having horrible foot pain from standing at my job and bought these and it has gotten better ever since. They feel like I am walking on clouds and I have used them to play volleyball and they work great. Only downside is the price but it is definitely worth it.
Let’s be honest. These shoes are ugly. I mean, they are a step up from medical orthopedic shoes, for goodness sakes! The thick sole isn’t exactly high-fashion for leisure or sports wear! 😂But function and comfort proceeds fashion and style when it comes to shoes for me. I think Hoka has tried their best to put all of that into this shoe, though they fall short in the fashion and style area in my opinion. However, I gave these shoes 5 stars because the comfort and functionality is off the charts amazing!!!I bought these shoes after doing lots of research and talking with a podiatrist friend of mine. I like to take walks after work for a few hours everyday just to relax and “come down” from the work day. I also love being outside and enjoying nature. My cross-trainers that I use to work out at the gym in weren’t as comfortable on long walks. They KILLED my feet! It was clear that I needed something different. The Hoka brand kept coming up in conversations and web searches that I would do to find a shoe to accommodate me. This particular model was listed on lots of top 10 lists and had rave reviews. My podiatrist friend also recommended these specifically. I’m glad I listened to the advice. I’m so satisfied with these shoes that I had to post a review!I’m in my late 40’s and on the taller side. I take care of my feet and joints because I want to be active in my older years. I’ve been fortunate enough to not have had any chronic knee or back issues and I want to keep it that way. I believe this is because I listen to my body and do not tolerate persistent pain and discomfort. If a shoe hurts, I won’t wear them and/or I will return them. These shoes feel wonderful on my feet! I can walk in these for hours on roads and sidewalks with no discomfort whatsoever. My back feels great and my feet feel wonderful as well! The shoes are light on your feet and my feet are not fatigued when I get home.I love these shoes and I’m so glad I discovered them!
I did not buy these shoes to work out. I bought them because I was experiencing pain in my feet after a short walk. These shoes are wonderful. So comfortable and no more pain when I take short walks. I am an elder woman and I walk on flat surfaces. At first I felt like I was wearing boats on my feet, but I quickly got used to them and I would highly recommend if you are interested in them.
I love my new Hoka running shoes. I have worn many other types of running shoes in my life, and these are by far my favorites. I wear a size 10, and these were true to size. I feel like I am running on air. Hopefully, they will hold up for a long time!
I’m on my feet 12+hours a day. I’ve had plantar fasciitis surgery. These shoes are light! Plenty wide and so comfortable! I’ve b en searching for a hood shoe. This one came highly recommended and they were right!

Recommended to me by a friend these were a lifesaver while in Italy walking on cobblestones. I had been working on my sore knee to prepare for this trip and a friend recommended these shoes. While I still hurt some days, these were amazing with the wide heel and cushioning. Can't imagine the trip without them. I will certainly look at other Hoka styles in the future.
