My husband absolutely loves them. He keeps telling me how lite and comfortable they are
After being on my feet all day, I wouldn’t wear any other sneaker!
An update to my original post. I was finally able to reach their customer service and they replaced the sneakers without any further hassle.------------------ Original Review ------------------Bought these 6 months ago and now the shoe is falling apart. Hoka provides a 1-year warranty but their phone system is broken as is their chat feature on their website. Shoes are indeed comfortable. QA is questionable. Customer support is non-existent.
I get a blister from the tongue. I have four pairs and these are the worst.
I prefer a minimalist shoe but my feet were telling me to try something with more padding. Picked up a pair of these. Adapted to the greater stack height ok and shoes DID make my feet hurt less during and after long (for me) runs. But a part of the very thin outsole peeled off. Took them to the running store, assuming they would replace them for me. They instead suggested I repair them with contact cement. Tried that unsuccessfully. I needed to run and same model was on sale. I figured Hoka has a good reputation, must just be bad luck. Second pair failed in the exact same way. In each case, no more than 100 miles in them, mostly on grass and dirt. No a lot of rocks or pavement. And I am not a heavy runner -- 150 pounds with a normal gait. It is my own fault that I didn't get in touch with Hoka sooner, and am out of warranty, but I am disappointed.
