Most comfortable shoes I've ever had.
Our family loves hoka shoes, and Clifton 9 is great, but I just had a very disappointing experience with a purchase from one seller.I ordered a size 10.5 of Clifton 9 on this page, the regular 10.5. Not 10.5 wide, which is a separate option. I, however, ended up receiving the wide. If it was just that, I’d think it was a simple mistake, but I was shocked to see the width info on the box literally cut out with a knife or something, as if to hide it. It felt intentional and deceptive, and it was a very disappointing experience.I immediately returned the item, and reordered the same on Zappos. It was a hassle at the last minute during the crazy holiday season, and just left a bitter taste, making me want to avoid unknown sellers altogether :(

It trapped my husband’s big toe nail although he is always wearing 11 in all kind of lace shoes.. and being unable to return after trying to generate another return code… just had $200 down to drain! Bad return policy as well.
These were big enough, I had room in the toe box, however, as another reviewer mentioned, it really hurt and damaged both big toes and toenails. Never had this issue with any other shoe brand. Returning the shoes.
I bought the Hoka Clifton 9 in a store for work but didn’t needed them until now for work. I get over a month so I cannot return them. When I tried the shoe in store I liked them because they were so soft and comfortable. Now that I actually wore them for a walk I could feel the inside of the shoes falling inward and not giving a flat stable step. I tried tightening the shoes laces but the problem remains and after a while you feel the pain on my knees. To kind of picture what I am talking about when you have your shoes on your supposed to look like this - - but with the Hoka you are walking like this \ / . They are soft but does not support your feet properly.
