The Hoka Gaviota 4 is designed for those who seek premium stability in their running experience. Engineered with HOKA's signature cushioning technology, this shoe provides a soft, supportive ride that enhances your performance whether you're on a casual stroll or an intense run.

The Hoka Gaviota 4 offers a unique combination of stability and cushioning, making it a superior choice for runners requiring additional support. The traditional EVA rubber used in its sole provides excellent shock absorption, which is crucial during long-distance runs. You’ll appreciate how these shoes handle lighter pronation, allowing for smoother transitions while you run.
The new soft upper design, featuring a bellowed tab, contributes significantly to the overall comfort. It hugs your foot without pinching, which is especially beneficial during longer sessions on your feet. Additionally, the lacing system allows you to customize the fit to your preference, ensuring a secure experience.
However, for those who prefer a minimalistic shoe, the Gaviota 4 may feel too cushioned and substantial. Although the price might be a consideration, the quality and durability of the materials used justify the investment for serious runners.

Pricey but worth the money! Great comfort and fashion. Better than other high end brands we’ve tried.
These shoes are like what everyone says your walking on cloud. I use them for work and on busy days I could walk all day no problem!
As a retired orthopaedic surgeon, I have heard hundreds of people complaint about shoe comfort issues. I have fairly severe pes planus myself. I put scaphoid pads in almost every pair of shoes I buy, but not in these. These shoes are now my work out footwear. I could wear them all day.
I love hoka they are the best walking and running show and standing for long hours I recommend them to everyone
These Hoka Gaviota fit as expected. Seems to be the same quality as the previous model.
This is a crime from a brand that has typically not let me down. I literally only use these shoes to stand indoors at my office job for 5 hours a day and by day 20 after buying them as new, the rubber outsoles have started peeling off. I am a normal sized 5’10 165 lb man who has never had this happen with several running shoes that have lasted for years of heavy running and gym use, let alone just standing in an office on day 20. This happened on both left and right shoes. I splurged and paid more than I should have to be comfortable at my new job only to be completely blindsided by a criminal lack of quality control on Hoka’s part. The Gaviota 2s that owned for walking 30 miles a week outside on for over 2 years never had that problem and are still in good shape.
I have owned plenty of HOKA's after switching from ACIS's a few years back. I walk 20-30k steps on average per day between outside and the gym. The difference between HOKA and other shoes has saved my knees and it is a noticeable difference. That being said, this last pair of HOKA's I have worn around 3 months. The glue on the bottom of the shoes was weak or bad, and all of the tread is flapping from the front to the back. This has never happened with other HOKA shoes that I have purchased, whether on Amazon or locally. While I do like the color scheme and how this shoe has performed otherwise, the tread peeling off after only a few months raises a concern that I will encounter this again in the future. It is not like HOKA's are a cheap or inexpensive shoe and for the money, I expect much better.I only wear shoes around 4-6 months and then switch them out. With the amount of activity I am doing, normally the tread wears down fairly quick so that can be problematic if you wear old worn out shoes on your feet/knees/hips/ankles.
Quality product and I got them in two days
