When it comes to selecting the right hiking footwear, the Columbia Men's Facet 75 Outdry stands out for its impressive design and functionality. Comfort is paramount, especially if you're planning extended hikes. The Techlite Plush cushioning provides a soft yet responsive feel, making those uphill climbs and lengthy descents much more manageable. The Navic Fit lacing system enhances this experience by ensuring that your heel stays locked in place, which is critical for maintaining stability on rocky trails.
Another significant advantage of these shoes is their waterproof capability. The OutDry membrane effectively seals out moisture, allowing you to hike confidently through rain or snow without worrying about soggy socks. This waterproof feature does not compromise breathability, keeping your feet comfortable even during strenuous activity.
For traction, the Adapt Trax outsole does not disappoint. With burly 5mm lug patterns, these shoes grip various surfaces exceptionally well, whether you're traversing muddy paths or slick rocks. You can trust them to handle diverse terrains, providing peace of mind as you navigate through nature's challenges.
On the downside, some users report that these shoes feel a bit bulkier compared to lighter alternatives, which could be a consideration for those prioritizing weight savings for fast-paced trekking. Furthermore, while the available sizes cater to a wide audience, the color choices might not suit everyone's personal style.
Overall, the Columbia Men's Facet 75 Outdry delivers a well-rounded hiking experience marked by durability, comfort, and advanced traction—making it an excellent choice for committed hikers seeking a reliable companion on the trails.

The shoes met my expectations: The colors, the size, the quality. They're lightweight and comfortable.
- Fits awesome- hiked Utha's mighty five without any issue- Comfortable- Will recommend to anyone*****- I wish it was little cheaper, but it is worth money
Amazing quality and very durable!! My son has put to the test on rainy days and in fields walking our dog and they look great!!
I have had the shoes for about 1.5 months, and as a dog walker, I have already walked well over one hundred miles in them, including hours of rain here in Seattle winter. My mix is 85% urban, 15% trail. The break-in was quick, and the shoes are very comfortable, fit as expected, and IMO look great! I love that shoes provide good grip, as I have not slipped even once on wet, cold sidewalks, streets, or stairs. In terms of waterproof... I’m happy with the price/value. The shoes seem pretty waterproof, but know that I have consistently only gotten about two hours of walking in wet/rainy conditions before my feet start to get a little damp around the toe area. To be clear, my feet have never ended up soaking wet even after 3-4 hours of walking in rainy conditions (like they would with non-waterproof shoes), but once they start getting damp, the feeling spreads slowly and my toes can start to get cold. I can imagine that walking on wet, technical trails in rainy conditions would lead to seepage faster. Overall, I think these shoes are a good value and highly recommend them as they are comfortable, provide good grip in urban areas and light trails, and have good waterproof ability. However, I do not recommend these shoes for folks that are going to walk for longer than 2 hours in wet conditions.
Best shoes ever for my feet
If you have wide feet, first days you could feel uncomfortable during walking. In total 5/5.
