Detailed Review

When it comes to finding the perfect dance sneaker, Capezio Women's Studio Shoes stand out for several reasons:

Comfort: The shoes are designed with a perforated arch that allows for excellent airflow. This feature is particularly beneficial during high-energy dance classes, providing much-needed breathability. The materials used—100% mesh, suede, and synthetic—contribute to their lightweight feel.

Performance: If you're serious about your dancing, you'll appreciate how these sneakers enhance your performance. The patented flex points work in harmony with your foot's natural movement, making spins and turns smoother and more controlled.

Fit: The speed loop lacing mechanism offers an adjustable fit that hugs your foot comfortably, which is essential when you're moving aggressively on the dance floor. Many users report feeling secure even during the most dynamic routines.

Durability: With care, these shoes can withstand the rigors of regular use. The sole made from Ethylene Vinyl Acetate ensures longevity while maintaining a lightweight profile.

In conclusion, if you're looking for stylish and functional dance sneakers, the Capezio Women's Studio Shoes are definitely worth considering. The combination of comfort, performance, and durability makes them a worthy investment for any dancer.

Great for Zumba

I've tried several different athletic shoes for Zumba, even ones stated they are for dance style aerobics, but the only shoes that don't leave my knees feeling twisted are these type of shoes. They're not the most attractive, but the turns and twists are much gentler on my knees with these. Depending on the floor type you take classes on, they may be a bit too slippery for lunges and side to side movements. I find after a few songs, I learn to adjust my steps and weight accordingly, though, and I don't have issues with it. These have held up well, and I've used them on a sprung rubbery type surfaced floor (slightly sticker than a typical waxed wooden floor), on a concrete/tiled floor, and on carpet, and they've worked great for all three types, though a bit slippery on concrete/tiled floors. One could try cutting one of those anti slip grippy pads for shoes and putting a bit on the sides to help with side to side grip, or to the heel, to help with side to side movements and lunge since the place it needs to be slippery is really at the toe area for spins and twist.PROS :Great for Zumba turns and twistssturdyWorks on wood, tile/concrete, and carpet floors wellCONS:A little slippery for lunges, side to side movementsloooong lacesNot the most attractive/fun looking shoe

Great for Zumba!

I needed a dance sneaker that would allow me to move correctly on a wooden floor during my Zumba class. My Nike Musique IV shoes were just a bit too "grippy", and I noticed many of my classmates had the Capezio Rockits. After reading all the Rockit reviews, as well as the reviews for several other styles and brands of dance sneakers, I decided to go ahead and order the Rockits. I'm glad I did, because this style works much better for me. The soles are more slippery, which is what I need to do the moves and steps right; but not so slippery that I am afraid I'll fall, and the split sole is much better for moves that require you to be on your toes or heels. There are two reasons I didn't give this style five stars: 1) I was warned by some of my classmates that they tend to run narrow, and I would have to agree. I have an average width foot, wear size 8 normally, and I did order up a half size as advised in many of the reviews. The length is fine, but by the end of my hour long class my little toes feel cramped; it might be because they hit right where there is a seam. (One of my classmates Rockits are actually coming apart in the exact same place, and she says she knows several other of our classmates have had the same issue). I don't wear socks with them either. 2) Why does it have to have so much padding on the tongue and upper portion? It is nice & comfy, but I just don't see the reason for it...it makes the shoe bulky, and I don't think its necessary.Overall, I'm very happy with this shoe. The price was reasonable, and I feel like I can move better and get the benefit of the exercise, and I do like the way they look except for that thick tongue!

Capezio is more narrow than Bloch

We got both Capezio and Bloch dance shoes.Capezio shape is more refined and less bulky than Bloch,Capezio arch is more curved and body-hugging than Bloch.Capezio ball is almost as smooth as Bloch for effortless turnsCapezio Sizing length is same as street shoe but the WIDTH across ball of foot was too narrow! Conclusion: We are keeping the more comfortable Bloch with wider foot bed, even though the Capezio overall shape was more elegant.

Good shoe for fitness class dancing

I developed knee and hip issues wearing regular athletic shoes for my dance fitness classes. These shoes provide enough support for my feet and they do not stick to the floor like regular athletic shoes. I wear a 71/2 in regular shoes and an 8 in athletic shoes because I don't want my toes to hit the end of the shoe. Size 8 1/2 fits perfectly in this shoe. My feet are slightly wide and the width of this shoe is just right.

Nice shoe but still not my ideal Zumba shoe

I purchased these shoes for my Zumba class. I have a pair of Raka studio D that I have been used for 2 years. Compare with the studio D, I was very impressed the first day I worn it to the class. Very light, the bottom was so smooth, you can make those turns so easy. However, I am not sure why, after worn it for a week or so, the shoe 's bottom did not seem to be so smooth any more.sometimes the first 20 minutes of class I just felt it stick to the floor. The shoe is very soft has a lot of cusion, but very hot when you sweat. I usually wear size 7-71/2 for gym shoes. So I got a size 8 on the rockit. Well, it's a little too big for me.

I bought these shoes and have been wearing them 3 times a week for one hour in zumba. Today I looked down and the sole over the toe box is falling off. Really disappointed
