When I first looked at the shoes, they seemed impossibly narrow and I thought I'd have to return them, but when I tried them on, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they expanded to fit my feet perfectly without being loose. They look great on, and have pretty good arch support. Better still, they are so comfortable to dance in. They are high quality shoes, and oh did I mention they make my size 10 feet look small. I'd highly recommend these shoes.
They felt too tight at first. I got thinner socks and relaced them and they felt good. Did dance class in them tonight and no blisters or foot pain. Of note, I have wider feet and weak achilles tendons so was worried shoes were going to hurt but no issues.
Decent shoe for the price, but lost ratings cuz the shoe laces does not provide much support. Also, this shoe runs LARGE. I wear a 10w women and a 9w was still too big even with socks on.
These are well-made practice shoes. I ordered a half-size larger and should have ordered my normal shoe size. I have a narrow foot, so I have to lace them tightly. It helps when I wear socks with them.
After wearing these for one hour at a dance lesson, the suede on the soles wore completely off in some areas. It looks like a thin layer of suede was sprayed on the soles, instead of a piece sewn on. These shoes are expensive, and I am surprised by the lack of quality. The only reason they get one star is because they are very comfortable. But I will need to have the soles redone. Very disappointed in Capezio. I expected a better product.
Wonderful dance shoes. Super comfortable. I ordered a half size up as other viewers had said. They fit perfect, and first time dancing felt like I had them for years. They are made of a canvas fabric, that kind of stretches to fit your foot. They look great with slacks, and I have also worn them with a dress and black tights. NO regrets here, would buy again in a heart beat.
I really thought the shoe didn't have enough support for my feet and it runs narrow for the normal size I take in a shoe. As a senior I need more support in any shoe I buy
They appeared narrow in looks but fit nicely on my wide foot. I usually wear a 6 1/2 reg width dance shoe since wide width is hard to fine. I ordered a 7 Wide and again they are great for practicing all the ballroom dances!
