The Brooks Women’s Cascadia 17 excels in delivering a superior running experience, particularly for trail runners. Its DNA LOFT v2 midsole technology cushions each step, making it perfect for long distances on uneven ground.
One standout feature is its new TrailTack Green outsole, which significantly improves traction. This is especially beneficial whether you're dealing with muddy patches or slick rocks. The shoe's construction from 25% recycled material also highlights Brooks' commitment to sustainability, appealing to environmentally-conscious consumers.
When it comes to stability, the Trail Adapt System shines, providing a seamless blend of control and comfort. The integrated midsole and rock plate work together to protect your feet from sharp objects without sacrificing flexibility. As a result, transitions feel smooth, allowing for quick changes in direction without feeling cumbersome.
However, it's worth noting that the Cascadia 17 may feel slightly bulkier than conventional road running shoes. Those who prefer a more minimalistic approach might find this aspect less appealing. Yet, for trail enthusiasts, the additional support and cushioning can make a significant difference during longer runs.

I love my Brooks shoes, I need a neutral shoe and these fit perfect. True to size. I might get some new colors now too. Came within two days.
My 5th pair of BROOKS shoes. I love them.
Love these shoes but when ordering order a size up they run small in length
I've been with brooks for over ten years. I got these because my toes usually goes through the netted part but these shoes are pretty secure and I have zero issues. I bought another model years ago same brand and they lasted too. I like these cause I am tired of the black color, also they are comfy.. I run on the treadmill, s and street with these. No issues. Worth every penny. I have went from knee pain.. before running.. to now.. none because of the build of this shoe.
thanks
I wear ghost 15 in wide. The cascadia 17 wide is close to the same fit but they have the protective portion around the toes. The soles are just stiff enough and have nice tread. Been on 3 trail runs so far and they work great.
Very comfortable.
I love these colors especially together. But I do like the fit of the ghost better than this one!
