I like that the Ghost 15 GTX is narrower than the Ghost 14GTX. It fits me better, the 14 did not give me any support in the forefoot because it was so wide. The arch support and cushioning seem better in the Ghost 15 GTX too, very pleased with this shoe.
I got these primarily for a trip to England, where it rains, a LOT. They have the comfort, cushioning, and stability I love, but they do seem just a tad short. I always get my Brooks a half size up for more room in the toebox, and these ones might be 1/8" shorter than I'd prefer, but I'm gonna keep them anyway. My left foot pronates, and it's also a half size longer than my right. Brooks are my absolute favorites.
I love my Brooks Ricochet 3s - they're comfortable and amply cushioned in the sole. Although happy with those I was looking for a waterproof shoe I can wear for my daily walks in the Pacific Northwest with that same level of comfort. I can barely feel any cushion with these when I tried on and walked around the house. Took out the inserts of both this pair and the Ricochet 3s to compare; there was hardly any give with this Ghost 15 pair. If they were less expensive I'd be tempted to keep them just to see how my feet feel over time, but at this steep price, no way. An aside, they also seem to run a bit smaller than the Ricochets.
They fit perfect and are very comfortable!
I'm relatively new to running and wanted something that I could wear in wet and cold weather. I wore them for the first time in snow the other day, stepped in a couple shallow puddles, and my feet were still dry. I don't have any injuries or conditions that require extra support, so these have just the right amount of cushioning for me. I had a little discomfort in my arches the first few times I used them, but it went away once I broke them in. The traction pods work well too. I just wish the laces were a bit longer, because sometimes there isn't enough length to tie them as securely as I'd like, or if I can tie them securely, they're a bit tight.
I have worn Brook Ghost shoes for years and was very pleased with them. When I saw the water proof ones, I thought they would be great. Upon arrival, I tried them on and they felt fine. After wearing them for an entire day, my feet hurt and my big toes were bruised. I notice the water proofing made the shoes stiff. After wearing them for a couple of weeks, they are still uncomfortable.
Comfortable, and wears well
Daughter loves them!!! Recommended by her orthopedic doc!
