I have a very wide foot 6E and where from a 11-12 in shoe size depending on the shoe. I got these in a 11.5 4E and they fit perfectly. I know it says it's only a 4E but it fits more like a 6E. My foot is measured at exactly between 5E and 6E. The cushion on these took a day or two to get use too. I have never had a neutral support shoe before and how squishy the support is, was odd at first causing me to stumble back when first standing up. Now I'm use to them and that doesn't happen anymore. The shoes are extremely comfortable and the only other ones I would have gone with would have been the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 also in 11.5 4E but according to Brooks' shoe finder on their site I should be in a neutral support shoe. IT's very hard shopping for shoes for me and I have been looking for shoes for almost a year to replace my Merrell Men's Jungle Moc Slip-On 12 2E. They are awesome too but not good for me at 6'5" 407lbs to be walking around all day in. If you're on the fence about these, do a try before you buy like I did. You won't regret it.
I have been running/walking in Ghost's since the 6. They have always been mu favorite show because of the EE width and fit. The Max has taken comfort to an entirely new level. Pure comfort right out of the box and the platform seems much easier to keep my gait. You really have to wear them to experience the new loft and I really recommend them if you like to walk!
These are very comfortable shoes, and I have a slightly wide foot. I have now bought 3 pair even at this price. They’re worth the money.
The soles are VERY comfortable, feels like walking on clouds. I think cause they’re so thick it also makes me a half inch taller and that’s kinda nice. I have WAY less back pain after work.My only complaint is that they are a little too spacious- I wanted to exchange them for a half size smaller than I usually wear but didn’t want the hassle. A little extra room in the toe box, you might want to consider getting half a size smaller than usual.
OMG! I've always been a big fan of the Brooks Ghost lineup of sneakers. These Max's are extremely comfortable. Perfect if your on your feet a lot or like long walks. Great balance of support and cushioning. Light, good grip, outstanding stability. Color wise I'm good with the all black for work and recreation. What I would love is a solid dark blue, dark green.
I decided to improve my health this year 2024 by slow running. I ordered one man pair and woman pair. I ended up like both. These 2 shoes are excellent for running. Thank you for making good products. They are expensive but they are worth for their quality.
A well made shoe. Comfortable. Doesn't hurt my back, or my feet. Will last a long time.
