Just got the shoes in January and train for a half marathon in April and they did fantastic! Love the support they give, and they have a lot of cushion! They were very light also!
These are my favorite running shoes. I also have the brooks tempos, and the new maxes. However. The elites are irreplaceable when I need a shoe to run fast, to train hard, to recover. I’m a strong 200 lbs forefoot runner, who puts in 50+ mile weeks. I also descend on my heels. These shoes get it all done and I trust them on race day too. Don’t listen to the haters. This is a wonderful must have shoe for serious runners who want speed and stability for long runs, tempo, and recovery runs. The foam is amazing. It Softens as the run gets long. Don’t mess around. Buy these
Such a great running shoe. Loved it so much got my daughter a pair also
These shoes are absolutely amazing! I have five (5) other pairs of Brooks running shoes (one for each weekday), thought to myself: 'what could be so special about these shoes that they $100 more than my Brooks Adrenalines?' Wow 👏 . They are worth every penny. They do add speed to your runs. I mean, I shaved two minutes off a 4.5-mile run on their debut, but I wasn't even trying to go faster. In fact, I thought I was going pretty slow.I don't run for speed, but, hey, who doesn't want to take a little time off their runs?I read a review in a runner online magazine and the writer said he could feel the difference behind the toes. So true 👍. So precise.I mean, Brooks are known for their wide platform, but there is just something really special about these Hyperions.I do still love my Adrenalines, but these have become my new favorites.
I'm so mad over paying 200 for these shoes that was supposed to be so good. They squeak on the floor something terrible an all the paint came off fast. They look awful an this is the last pair of brooks I'll buy
They are good looking shoes, very light and agile, but I had to compared them to Nike Zoom fly 4. The Zoom fly 4s were superior in comfort and material feel longevity. Now I'm not saying they are bad shoes, but for the price I will go with the Zoom fly 4s. At the end of the day is your preference on shoes style and comfort.
At first when I put them on, they felt a little stiff but after walking around in them for about 5 minutes, they felt fine.Took them for a two mile run and I felt great. I felt that there was way more bounce in my push off and my feet didn’t feel sore after running. The fact that I got them on sale makes this purchase even better.
I'd read all the reviews and still wasn't sure if I would like these or not. I have Nikes next percent and they are incredible shoes but too much for the treadmill. The Brooks shoe doesn't deliver the same kick and I think I like them better for that very reason. Right now in Michigan the treadmill is a must because of ice but I can't wait to try these outside!
