When it comes to trail running, the ASICS Women's GT-2000 6 stands out due to its combination of high-performance features and comfort. The FlyteFoam midsole technology ensures that each step feels energised and responsive, making long runs less taxing on your feet.
As you navigate rocky paths or soft dirt trails, you'll appreciate the rearfoot and forefoot GEL cushioning system that absorbs impact efficiently, protecting your joints from shock. The Guidance Trusstic System and Guidance Line technologies work together to enhance your stride efficiency, allowing for better energy conservation over distances.
The rugged AHAR outsole is particularly noteworthy; not only does it offer excellent grip on varying surfaces, but it also adds to the shoe’s longevity—meaning you can focus more on your run and less on replacing worn-out footwear.
However, keep in mind some users have found the sizing to be slightly off, suggesting a trial fitting may be wise. Additionally, like many technical running shoes, they may need some time to adapt to your foot shape.

I typically wear 7.5 to 8 depending on the width of the shoe as I have wider boxy feet. These actually fit very well at my standard 7.5 which was relieving since there were a few reviews saying they were tight! The shoe itself is great. Nice and sturdy and very comfortable.
Runs a little small, will have to exchange for larger size:/
Finally, Asics are looking more trendy to go with my whatever mood I’m in workout gear. Sometimes I match, most times I don’t, but always it matters how I feel! ASICS are the only sneakers I’ve worn since high school track and cross country! My arches hurt in other sneakers after I reach about 1 mile and in any workout activity in the gym or outside after about 15 minutes. It in ASICS, my arches never hurt while I’m performing. These are great! I never throw them away! After I replace them, the others become work outside and around the house sneakers that are broken in and comfy!
I used to buy these religiously until I decided to give the gel-scram trail shoes a try. One year and two pairs of scrams later, I decided to give these gt-2000s another try since they’re purported to have better drainage and I’ll be doing a race with multiple river crossings. Nope. I’m officially a convert to the scrams. These are still a good trail shoe and would likely work well for others, but the fit is not completely right for me, I feel clunkier running on rocky and rugged trails, and the tread does not grip rock as well as the scram-3 shoes. I will use these shoes for the gym and road running, but I bought another pair of scrams for my trail runs.
Color was nice. The 'webbing' portion was somewhat firm. The main reason I had to return was because the toe box was too narrow.
Just got mine and they look incredibly cute. Fit perfect with lots of support. I’ll be looking to order a second pair. They are a true OD green/ black with med pink. I actually don’t mind the pink and it’s not one of my favorite colors. I’ll update this after a good run this week.
I love everything about these shoes, especially the color- olive green, black and pink. Not too ridiculously feminine but not masculine either. I wear a 9. They ran true to size. Great for walking and jogging or just wearing around. I’m thrilled I found them!
The shoe fits great and feels great. I have no arch (flat footed), but this shoe helps my stride as I run and they look really good as well.
