I was hoping that this shoe would fit. ( I 've worn another brand for almost 10 years because of the issue of comfortable fit.) I ordered a 10W. The shoe seemed a little tight at first but with a little use my foot, and maybe the shoe adjusted a little, and the shoe has been very comfortable. Good arch support. Design looks great.
I usually buy Hoka One, but I loved the navy blue color of these, so thought I'd try them. I love them, although they're not quite as supportive as Hoka One's. They're a great shoe and good fit.
I usually wear size 8 1/2 - 9. The last time I bought an Asics it was size 9 so I did the same here and it fits perfectly. I like Asics because they are perfect for my plantar fasciitis. However, I think this pair is not as sturdy as the one I had before. It is a lot lighter and not as comfy. I also notice that the laces are thinner. So, far, I have been using them for my gym work-out and I have no complaints and no pain. So I believe they are good shoes for the price.
When I ordered the Asics Venture 9, I liked the color and style, but what I really love is how they feel and fit so well! I would highly recommend them.
I’m a nurse and I tried the “other popular brands” and I went right back to old faithful! I just keep buying the same shoes because they never let me down. I’m on my feet for sometimes 16-17 hrs with no break. Great cushion, great arch support, never smash my toes, never hurt my heels, always comfortable. Highly recommend!
I play 30 - 40 games of pickleball on an outdoor court each week. This was my fourth pair from this brand. None of the shoes have lasted more than 5 months. I wore a hole in the big toe on 2 pairs so the next two I purchased were a different style. On this particular shoe, I loved the colors, they were comfortable right out of the box, they were true to size and they supported my feet. However, after only 4 months, there's no tread left under the balls of my feet. That's a horrible value for as much as they cost. My friend bought K Swiss about the same time I bought these and she has plenty of tread left. I know what I am buying next.
I’ve been searching for another ASICS product to replace the Gel Kahana 8 since they stopped making them. I am not a runner but a person who does not want a repeat of plantar fasciitis. I looked for advice from orthopedic references for a substitute for the K-8 above. The gel Venture 9 from ASICS was recommended. When the pair arrived I tried them on and found the same familiar hugging of the heel area as before. I think the toe box is a teeny bit bigger and maybe the sole a little thicker. But I’m keeping them. I think they will work for me. My husband also was a K-8 fan after his bout with plantar fasciitis. He’s ordered his pair of Ventures which will arrive next week.
These shoes are lightweight but protect my feet in all day comfort. I am partial to the ASICS brand & have never been let down. Being in my feet most of the day I can say without a doubt I am in perfect comfort.
