ASICS Women's Gel-Excite 4 Running Shoe

I have ordered at least 15 pairs of sneakers looking for the perfect fit. This sneaker is finally it. I put this sneaker on right out of the box and it felt comfortable. The next morning I wore it to my step class and spent 45 minutes putting it through the test! 100% passing! My toes felt fine, my arches felt fine, as well as my heels and the rest of my feet. No pain or discomfort at all!!! I cant believe it. These are true to size. I usual wear a 7.5 and this is what I bought. I have a slightly wide foot, a decent arch, and a small bunion that only bothers me with some shoes. This sneaker did not hurt my bunion at all, the arch has nice support and the toe box is great. I also ordered the Venture 6 at the same time in a wide(D). This sneaker, the excite 4, in a regular(B) width, fit and felt better. The color is great in person, bright and vibrant.

Every time I purchase new Asics sneakers I know it's going to be an amazing experience. Comfortable, colors exactly as pictured, top quality. For the last 20 years I've been purchasing Asics sneakers, they are the best.Some time ago I was on a trip with a friend and one day we were shopping the whole day, taking crowded subways and buses, walking for over 8 hours (we sat for half an hour to grab a snack). I was wearing my Asics, of course, but not my friend (I won't say the brand she was using, it's not polite ... for that brand). By the end of the journey her feet, calves and thighs were hurting really bad (almost burning, she said, especially her feet) .... I was feeling a little tired but my legs and feet were not in pain; in fact, I could walk a couple of hours more without any discomfort. That was an Asics experience. Enough said. You say Asics and you know you get the best quality when you want sneakers to walk, run or any other workout.

I have triangle feet, meaning narrow heels and slightly wide toes. My previous running shoes were NB and were wide all over. They looked super bulky and gravel would often fall in at the ankle because how large they were back there. I ordered always order a full size up on running shoes and did the same this time. The wide fit on these are not bulky and in fact I was worried they sent the regular fit. After further research, they did in fact send regular and not wide fit shoes. However, I can wiggle my toes around and they do not feel cramped in the toe box so I am going to keep them. They do not seem to have much arch support, but I do not rely on that, so not a deal breaker for me. These seem to be good shoes for the price.

Had purchased this shoe from a department store a year ago, and was pleased to find it on Amazon for cheaper. I like the shoe (even though purple and orange are not my colors); my husband says that the orange helps me to be seen when I go walking/jogging. Mesh upper around the toes helps to make sure you aren't cramped in your running/walking, and I really appreciate the flexibility of that. The sole is a little harder than I expected, and I had pain in my foot the first time(s) I jogged with them. However, my right foot is slightly larger than my left. I assume this will go away as I break them in; it's already helped. The small rub in the heel is going away with daily use, also, and I just make sure my sock comes up to there. Wearing with either cheap no-show socks or UnderArmor no-show socks, and no fit problems with either. Probably would be a fabulous shoe with a gel insole. The removable ones that come with Asics shoes make my life so much better. Shoe lasted me almost a year of regular wear and tear, and only started to really erode the sole after I started jogging regularly this summer. Can't tell you how many miles I have put on them since I don't track that.

I did 45,000 steps from DTLA to the beach this past weekend, on concrete sidewalks, and have zero blisters and my feet feel great. My ankles are slightly sore, but that's it. I have been wearing these shoes for 2-3 months doing 3 mile treadmill walks, so it wasn't a guaranteed proposition. But I am so happy; they held up great, and I'm wearing them now!I'm an 8-1/2 solid, but I bought a 9-1/2 so I could wear thicker socks and have room in the toe box. I thought I bought too big, but they tie perfectly around my foot and don't slide, so the extra room is just good toe wiggle room. My heels are slightly narrower than some but the ball of my foot is normal; not narrow, not wide. (I have had 9's in this brand before, so the 9-1/2 was kind of an accident. For exercise, they are just right with the socks. ) These shoes could be a bit heavier than some people like, but I really love them.UPDATE: Just bought my 3rd pair, about 1.500 miles each pair. Love them. Sized down 1/2 size this rune to a 9, to get tighter feel around the foot.

What can I say other than I love Asics shoes! They have worked for me for many years, and I've now converted my hubby to Asics. I'm hard to fit and super picky when it comes to shoes, but Asics doesn't let me down. These particular shoes do seem to run a little on the narrow side, which works perfect for me as I have a narrow foot. They are supportive, well made, and look really nice. Thank you to Asics for these shoes. Now I just have to decide if I should buy another pair now or wait until these bite the dust to see what Asics has then!

I work in a hospital and my job is to run around talking to patients. This means a lot of racing down hallways and running up and down stairs. These are fantastic for that. I find these to be true to size. I just ordered my normal 7.5 that I always wear. The color is stunning. Got complimented on them the first day. They're insanely comfortable and, like a kid, I went bouncing around in them the first time I out them on. They have soft, but protective (and bouncy) soles. I have insane arches, so there isn't much that I would rate as having amazing arch support - but these aren't bad. I've found a winner.

I wore this shoes to the gym the same day they arrived. I did not have to break them in. They fit true to their size. I was very impressed how comfortable and light they felt. I run 5 -5.5 miles 3-4 times a week. I usually have knee pain after running. These shoes made my knee pain go from a 7/10 post running to 2/10 on day one of wearing them.Another great feature these shoes have is the breathability. I have never felt air flow in any of my other sneakers. These shoes keep your feet feeling cool throughout your running/workout time.I would definitely recommend them to anyone who runs/exercises for their light weight, shock absorbance, and breathability. I wear cotton socks with my shoes; so the breathability is a bonus for me. These shoes are worth every penny.
