I purchased these about 3 months ago for walking. Ordered size 15. Fits perfect for length but not at all in width. Shoe is very narrow. Thought if I wore them eventually they would stretch out a bit. Never happened. My foot goes numb after only wearing the shoe for a few minutes.
Just buy them. Kinda pricey but it’s worth the comfort.
I really was in pain (I suffer from achilles tendon) and this shoes were a total game changer for me! They are not the lightest shows, but they served beyond expectations! 5 stars!!
I've run in Asics shoes for over ten years (Gel Kayano). I was excited that Asics came out with a competitor to the Nike Zoom Fly 4%, which I've used to run races (marathons and half marathons), but are too flimsy for day to day training.However...I've now run six times in these MetaRides, and they are unwearable for me because for some bizarre reason, my socks keep bunching up while I run. It's so bad that every mile or two I have to stop and untie them, fix my sock, and retie them. This has never happened to me with any other running shoe (Asics or otherwise), and I've tried several different pairs of socks in the hopes that it was maybe the socks for some reason.I have no idea what it is about the design of the shoe that's causing this, but I cannot use these sneakers for their intended purpose, which is very unfortunate, especially at a $250 price point. It may just be something unique with me and how I run, but I've never had this problem with any other running shoe before, and I've been running for over 30 years.
